1. Join the SAFRA Badmonton Tournament 2023 as a Parent & Child Doubles Team

The SAFRA 11th Badminton Tournament will host 5 categories for families and NSmen to compete in, either individually or as a pair. The categories include

Super Baby 2023 is an opportunity for children between 4 to 12 years old to explore their talents and gain confidence on stage! Organised by a team of professional educators and industry experts, this event aims to provide a diverse stage for children to showcase their unique abilities.
The competition will see a judging panel that includes renowned educators such as Singapore's famous educator, Fang Weicheng, and former New Oriental vice-president, Lu Weisheng, to evaluate the performances and provide valuable feedback.
Participants will also benefit from the guidance of the invited guests, Singapore's director Wang Yanbin, Singapore's DJ Jiang Jianwen, well-known Singapore artist Chen Jianbin and Taiwan's artist Lin Ziyu. Whether it's directing or acting, all three of them are impeccably professional.

4. Be Mesmerised at the Chingay Parade 2023

Singapore’s biggest multicultural Chingay parade is back to electrify and engage audiences on 3 and 4 February 2023 with a live spectacle! Returning as a physical parade after two years of hybrid and digital showcases, Chingay Parade 2023 will involve over 10,000 residents, artists, and art groups including more than 3,000 performers. It will also mark the return of big colourful and impressive floats alongside community-created mini floats!
Families can head down to the LIVE showcase at F1 Pit Building to catch the floats and performers up close as well as the many other programmes and activities happening too! Tickets are available on SISTIC from $20!

12. Get Tickets to the 360-degree digital immersive art experience, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience

13. Outdoor Survival Skills: Surviving The Wild at Reflections at Bukit Chandu

Looking to learn from the soldiers who stood for Singapore? In collaboration with local outdoor adventure team, Beyond Expedition Singapore, head down to Reflections at Bukit Chandu to join in a series of activities and try your hands at some of the essential survival skills that would be useful in the wilderness. Sharpen your navigation skills, learn how to start a fire safely, pick up basic first aid skills and more! Complete all stations and bring home a mystery gift!
*Reflections at Bukit Chandu might not be the most convenient place to visit, but every weekend in February, visitors can hop on a complimentary, one-way shuttle bus service from National Museum of Singapore (NMS) to either Changi Chapel & Museum (CCM) or Reflections of Bukit Chandu (RBC), to learn more about the stories of World War Two in Singapore.
14. Visit the Newly Opened Punggol Regional Library

Located within One Punggol, Punggol Regional Library opened its first two floors to the public, on 30 January 2023, Monday. With dedicated offerings for children on both levels, the library will serve the needs of the community in Punggol! The library will have dedicated collections and spaces for children of all ages, where they will be able to broaden their learning about the world and develop 21st century skills!
Other features that children can enjoy are:
- Spark!Lab™, a DIY tinkering space set up in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution for children (aged 7 to 12 years) to participate in hands-on activities and create innovative solutions to different challenges
- TinkerTots where children (aged 6 years and below) can play with educational toys and learn about the world through simple tinkering activities

15. Explore the Fundamentals of Architecture at Arkki Explorer Weekly Programme

A popular architecture and design thinking school, Arkki Singapore, is bringing back their Arkki Explorers weekly programme for a 3rd season! 16. Visit the Reopened Peranakan Museum

After a four-year renovation period, the Peranakan Museum is set to reopen its doors to the public in mid-February 2023. The refurbished building boasts 9 galleries across 3 floors and will feature brand new permanent galleries, with exceptional objects from Peranakan material culture, as well as a fresh new exhibition design and visitor experience.

17. Take a Trial at the First-ever Futsal Hardcourt School

18. Chill at the Chatuchak Night Market Singapore at the Grandstand

One of the most iconic Bangkok night markets, Chatuchak Night Market will be in Singapore at the Grandstand South Carpark from 7 Feb to 4 Apr 2023.
The 2023 edition of the market in Singapore will feature over 180 different vendors on a rotational basis (some will take turn over the 3 month period), selling street food, handicrafts, and antiques in a 20,000 square feet space. In fact, some of the vendors will be flown in from the original Chatuchak market in Bangkok!
We say it is a must-go but do keep in mind the possible crowd too!
19. Discover Fun at the New HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir

HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir officially opened in Jan 2023 as the first reservoir-fronting clubhouse in Singapore and boast a number of family-friendly facilities including Action Motion, an obstacle arena where families can challenge each other across multiple challenges, a 6-lane 50m long infinity swimming pool, an indoor water adventure playground Aqua Adventure and East Villas, double storey villas facing the Bedok Reservoir as well as many other facilities.
Aqua Adventure and East Villas are expected to open to public from mid-Feb 2023 - so do stay tune for more details!
20. Enjoy Free Entry to Sentosa Till 31 Mar 2023

Families can enjoy free entry to Sentosa until 31 Mar 2023 as the popular promotion is extended for the 7th time! However, this will be the last extension with admission fees kicking in from 1 Apr 2023 (unless its an April's Fool Joke).
To make use of the free entry, families can enter via the Sentosa Express, Driving, through the Sentosa Broadwalk, and free shuttle services on weekdays too.
21. Have a Feast at the Inaugural Asian Food Street at Singapore Sports Hub

Look out for sushi aburi, an open flame sushi with your choice of topping, espuma durian chendol which is a spin on traditional chendol, as well as a plant-based Guac Stack Burger and all-time indulgent favourites like laksa, roti john and satay.
