Chatuchak Night Market, one of the most iconic Bangkok destinations, is coming to Singapore in Feb 2023!

Admission: Free, spending required for activities and food

One of the most iconic Bangkok night markets, Chatuchak Night Market will be in Singapore at the Grandstand South Carpark from 7 Feb to 4 Apr 2023. You may recall that Chatuchak.SG was at the same venue in 2020, but was cut short due to COVID restrictions, and they are now back after 2 years!

This is a perhaps a must-go for the foodie parents and those looking for a chill night out (but do take note of the possible crowd too).

Over 180 Vendors

The 2023 edition of the market in Singapore will feature over 180 different vendors on a rotational basis (some will take turn over the 3 month period), selling street food, handicrafts, and antiques in a 20,000 square feet space. In fact, some of the vendors will be flown in from the original Chatuchak market in Bangkok!

Some of the vendors to look out for are

Char Chak (Thai Teh Tarik) from the province of Satun is back to quench the thirst! Be prepared for a performance when you select from a variety of authentic Thai Drinks ranging from Thai Tea, coffee, Fresh Milk to Ovaltine.

Thai Roti from the province of Satun is made from a dough mixture passed from generations. The texture of the "prata" is chewy and you can choose your topping to go along - including banana, chocolate and condensed milk!

Free Parking and Shuttle Bus

Families can expect free parking at Grandstand and for those who do not drive, you can also expect free shuttle buses from Botanic Gardens, Clementi, and Toa Payoh.
