What Other Parents Think?
My son goes to Little Earth for cubing class every school holidays. He loves it and he likes the teacher. He mastered his 1st cubing - 3 by 3 at Little Earth in 3 lessons (as promised by the teacher!) Later on, he moved on to CFOP for 3 by 3, 4 by 4 and mirror cube. All at Little Earth!
I like the feature that it plays interesting bed time stories for my 6 year old, when I m tired after work
I would like to express my appreciation for your excellent work Thank you for making a difference for my child's development. We have seen much improvements ever since she started school there. Place is great with small class ratio. This enables the kids get all the attention needed. I would recommend this place to everyone with little ones.
both of my kids came for a trial class , had a fun time , recommended
my child recently came for a free trial class , teachers there was very informative and had a excellent attitude
Safe place for the kids to have fun!
The trial class is highly recommended as it was a very welcoming space for my child to explore if she was interested in art classes or not. The teacher was encouraging and passionate, and gave useful feedback on what she could further learn if she joined the class. They didn't hard sell anything on the spot too, but only followed up with a text to check on my child's interest. In the end my child wasn't keen on continuing with classes, but Tree Art was very understanding and wasn't pushy at all.
Both my children found the activities to be highly engaging. In fact, my 8-year-old son has attended the camp in 2019 and again in 2020. You guys are always able to find such interactive and tactile ways to explain scientific concepts to the kids. And not to mention with the element of fun too. I find the daily post programme updates extremely useful. They help to keep parents informed about the content and structure of the day’s programs. Parents can also help to reinforce the concepts the kids at home too. Highly recommended!!
This is our second science holiday camp with Cognitive Whizz this June hols. We returned because the kids (6 and 7 years old) had so much fun during the first camp they tried in Dec and I was impressed they remembered all they have learned in the last camp. The teachers used examples that the kids can relate to in every day life and made the concepts easy for kids to understand. I especially liked that there was a daily debrief on what the kids did and learned for the day for parents at the end of every session. On top of that, Denise also makes sure that she updates all parents (since many may not be able to attend the debrief) via whatsapp on the concepts including photos. This helps parents to understand the concepts taught and reinforce learning with the kids at home.
My daughter (9 yrs old) has enjoyed herself very much at the workshops. It was wonderful to see her coming back to share enthusiastically with me, what she had learnt that day. I like the way the topics are being introduced to the children. It is very systematic and explained clearly to children of different ages. She particularly enjoyed the hands-on activities and was able to explain the scientific concepts behind each experiment. "A Science Escapade" provided many opportunities for the child to do experiments and bringing home these experiment sets to continue working with them. She has attended several science camps before but this is the first time I see her so excited about going back for the next day's program. Of course, the highlight was the visit to Adventure HQ, where the team was able to integrate the science concepts learnt with play activities. I would (and have already) recommend this workshop to other parents.
My two kids (aged 5 and 7) joined the holiday program "A Science Escapade!" and I cannot rave enough about how much they enjoyed the camp! They came home with practical applications of the concepts learnt, and every evening us parents received a detailed summary of what happened at camp. It was a great way to keep the parents informed and offered conversation opportunities with my kids about what they had fun with at camp! At camp, the kids had a chance to keep a Science log and my 5yo came home very excitedly showing me how her predictions matched the outcome of her experiment! At the end of the 5-day camp, Denise who runs the camp, furnished us with a thorough report on the day-to-day happenings and the scientific concepts covered. You can tell that this camp has been crafted with care and thought for the children's experiences, and it pays off as my kids would randomly bring up the topics and things they learnt when they see examples of them in daily life. I highly recommend this camp and would not think twice to sign my children up again and again!
The instructors are rather good in interacting with the children and parents. Activities are well planned throughout the 2 hours play, allow children to have free play sessions, then group activities (passing the ball and obstacles game). Finally, dough play. My children really have fun throughout the session.
Its a great initiative. Love this kind of meet up!
