The popular free entry promotion to Sentosa has been extended till 31 Mar 2023! Great for families planning beach outings, attraction visits and more!

Free entry to Sentosa was first announced to end in Sep 2020. It was extended multiple times - it has now been extended again till 31 Mar 2023! This is the 7th time the promotion has been extended!

To make use of the free entry, families may enter Sentosa using the following modes:
Entering via Sentosa Express
If you’re traveling via the Sentosa Express, simply tap your ez-link card and gain free entry. If you do not have an ez-link card, worry not. You can still enjoy free admission when you reach out to a Service Ambassador.
Do note that the Sentosa Express trains will operate from 7 am to 12 am daily.
Driving into Sentosa
All cars with a locally registered IU (no entry for motorcycle) can simply drive in for free. If you have a car with non-locally registered IU, then you’ll get to enjoy free admission when you tap or insert your Autopass Card on the card reader at the booth.
Walking or Cycling
Visitor may also walk or cycle into Sentosa for free as part of the island's normal admission rules.
Free Shuttle Service on Weekdays
Travel from VivoCity to Sentosa for free with the free shuttle services that runs on Mondays to Thursdays, 10pm to 12am at 30 minutes interval.
VivoCity (Bus Stop) → Harbourfront Bus Interchange → Village Hotel → Beach Station → Opp Village Hotel → Resorts World Sentosa (Basement 1) → VivoCity
Bookings no longer needed for Sentosa beaches
From 15 Mar 2022, families visiting the Sentosa beaches on weekend and public holidays do not need to make a booking anymore. Previously, visitors needed to make a booking.
Fees from Apr 2023
However, it seems to be the last extension as the following fees will kick-in from 1 Apr 2023.
Via Sentosa Express
- Standard fee: $4
- Selected TransitLink Concession Cardholders: $2
- Children below 3 years old: Free
via cars and taxis
- 7 am - 12 pm: $6
- 12 pm - 2 pm: $2
- 2 pm - 5 pm: $6
- 5 pm - 7 am: $2
Existing ways to enter Sentosa for free will continue to be in place, including via the Sentosa Boardwalk, SBS Transit Service 123 (only distance-based bus fare applies), as well as through cycling.
