Kids Watch Free Movies - Golden Village, Shaw Theatres and More (Updated 2026)

Thinking of watching a movie with your kid? Did you know that Golden Village and Shaw Theatres have a kids watch for free promotion? As a bonus, we also included more family-friendly venues that you can catch movies for free too!

So read on to see how you can get FREE movie tickets for your family! 

Golden Village - Kids 6 and Below Watch for Free!

At Golden Village, kids (6 years and below) get to watch a movie for free with every standard adult ticket purchased for G, PG and PG13 rated movie titles only.

• Where: Promotion is applicable for walk-in purchases at all GV cinemas
• When: For sessions before 2pm on Monday to Friday between 2 Jan to 20 Nov 2026
• What: For every 1 standard ticket purchased, one child, 6 years and below will get a free movie ticket.
  
• Exclusion Dates: excluding School Holidays (14 – 22 Mar, 30 May – 28 Jun, 5 Sep – 13 Sep, 21 Nov – 31 Dec), Public Holidays & Eve of Public Holidays (16 – 18 Feb; 20 – 21 Mar; 3 Apr; 1 May; 26 – 27 May; 1 Jun; 10 Aug; 9 Nov; 24 – 25 Dec and any other days gazetted as Public Holidays by the Singapore government). 

The standard ticket and free ticket for child must be of the same movie and session. Do note the full T&Cs on Golden Village's website. 

Shaw Theatres - Kids 6 and Below Watch for Free!

At Shaw Theatres, enjoy free admission for the little one (6 years old and below) with every standard (full price) ticket purchase by an accompanying adult for G, PG and PG13 rated movie titles only.

• Where: Walk-in purchases at all Shaw Theatres Box Offices
• When: Valid for shows before 2pm, from Mon-Fri (excluding Public Holidays & Eve of Public Holidays).
• What: Free Admission for the Little One (6 years old & below) with every standard (full price) ticket purchase by an accompanying adult. 
• Exclusion Dates: excluding Public Holidays & Eve of Public Holidays)

• ST3PS @ Changi Airport Terminal 3: Changi Airport’s ST3PS is a communal space where you can catch free movie screenings around the clock! Check schedule here.
• Festive Plaza @ Our Tampines Hub: For a spontaneous movie date night, you can swing by Our Tampines Hub. The open-air plaza at Our Tampines Hub transforms into a movie theatre but remember to check on their Facebook page for the latest show dates and time!
• Celebration Square @ One Punggol: Families living near One Punggol will be excited to know that they can head down to catch regular movie screenings - details are posted on their Facebook page.
• Movies on the Beach @ Sentosa: On selected days, you can catch a free movie screening of popular movies on Sentosa.
• Nightflix Somerset: Watch an exciting line-up of films at Somerset Youth Park on every 1st Saturday of the month from 7.30pm. Registration is free, via the Cinewav app. Check schedule here.
