The March school holidays will be happening from 11 to 19 March 2023. While it is just a 1 week short break, it is also an opportunity to spend time together with your children and create lots of family fun! 

With so much to do during the holidays, we wanted to make the process of discovery easier for you (instead of diving into pages and pages of information looking for ideas), so here's our compiled list of all the fun things happening this holiday season in one place!

2. Take Part in March On, Esplanade's Annual Children's Festival

March On 2023 will explore relevant issues for the young through multi-disciplinary programmes and participatory arts experiences. Families who visit the Esplanade during the March school holiday will discover a variety of paid and free programmes for the entire family! Through this festival, Esplanade hopes to help families create a lasting memory, to bring back a helpful lesson and to create meaningful conversations between parents and their children!

From theatre performances that encourage children to explore the unfamiliar to a musical procession where children get to play and have fun - there will be something for everyone at March On 2023!

3. A Unique Holiday Bootcamp Experience with Eastpoint Mall

Venue: Eastpoint Mall

From interesting classes to supermarket hunt, children can expect lots of exciting fun at the returning Holiday Bootcamp at Eastpoint Mall! There will be 5 different sessions curated for 7 to 12 year old this holiday's edition of the popular holiday programme at the mall, including for the first time, a 2D1N experience where children will get to build and sleep in their own tent! 

You simply need to spend a min. of $50 at the mall to get your ticket for just $10! But do hurry - there are limited slots available for each session!

4. Head down to i12 Katong For Fun Ways To Learn About Sustainability and Conservation

Join Ranger Buddies on a series of exciting missions around Singapore to discover how small actions can make a big difference to Earth.

Over the March school holidays, Rangers Buddies can head down to i12 Katong to be transported to rainforest and river habitats to help their animal buddies in distress. With deforestation displacing our animal friends, Ranger Buddies will have to brave different obstacles using their C.O.U.R.A.G.E. strength to save the animals. 

Or be a Keeper for a day at the Singapore Zoo from 10 Mar to 2 Apr and learn about the important role that zoos play in caring for animals. Incorporating the five domains of Animal Welfare, Ranger Buddies will have to demonstrate all seven C.O.U.R.A.G.E. strengths to complete the mission.

Ranger Buddies will receive a stamp on a card, and a digital and physical badge awaits them once they complete the mission.

7. Try Longkang Fishing and Decorate Your Own Fish Tank

8. Have Carnival Fun At The T3 Underground Carnival

Started last week, families can head down to the T3 Underground Carnival at Changi Airport Terminal 3 to have fun at the many carnival games and amusement rides happening at B2 and B3. 

At the B2 (outside Kopitiam), you will find games like the feed the clown, shooting gallery and even an interesting angry bird game (where you launch a catapult to try to hit down the bricks). Head out to the carpark and you will find more carnival games as well as amusement rides like the spinning cup, boat ride and more! There will also be plenty of photo spots for you to capture your families photos too! 

Those looking to do more can head down to B3 where there is a pirate ship, car ride and the popular Dino-Kart. The Dino-Kart is a go-kart experience for 13 years old and above and is located at the carpark at B3.

9. Play at the Mattel Playhouse at Let's Play Marina Square

13. A Puppetry Performance with STEM Elements - The Ageing Artist

An Artist considers her mortality, what her art has given her and what she will leave behind. She engages a documentary filmmaker to create what she considers to be her final legacy, but is stumped when her iron strong opinions perspectives are being challenged by him, and a robot.

This two-part programme includes a post-performance workshop, providing an opportunity for members of the community to be exposed to The Finger Players’ signature puppetry forms.

The Ageing Artist is a puppetry performance that weaves together elements of STEM. Targeted at families, this piece is about the meaning and purpose of art creation within the Singapore landscape.

14. Singapore Smash Invites You To Play Table Tennis For Free

21. Get A Taste Of Bangkok at Chatuchak Singapore

One of the most iconic Bangkok night markets, Chatuchak Night Market will be in Singapore at the Grandstand South Carpark from 7 Feb to 4 Apr 2023. In fact, some of the vendors will be flown in from the original Chatuchak market in Bangkok!

26. Visit the Immersive Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience

Be transported to a sunny paradise from the 11th to 19th of March 2023 as Marina Square Shopping Mall’s iconic balloon exhibition bounces back with a bang at the mall’s Central Atrium after a 3-year hiatus. 

The entire 6,500 square foot central atrium will be transformed into a Hawaiian-themed beachscape, bringing holiday joy to visitors through majestic balloon sculptures. The event will feature works of 40 talented balloon artists hailing from Singapore, China, Spain, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Indonesia, with a massive number of balloons made from 100% all natural latex and completely bio-degradable, will be sculpted over the span of 4 days to create a whole new dimension. 

You don't want to miss the larger-than-life 13-metre tall Pineapple House. Step in for an immersive experience of a spectacular display of neon glow balloons within.

Adventurous visitors can hop onto a wave surfer simulator to experience surfing without getting wet. 35. Beat the Clock & Win @ The Centrepoint

Venue: The Centrepoint, Main Atrium at Leve l1
Dates: 10 - 24 Mar 2023
Admission: Flash a $10 receipt from any store to take part

Head down to The Centrepoint to let the kids take part in an exhilarating obstacle course for 6 to 12-year-old kids! Participants who “Beat the Clock” 3 times will receive an exclusive Finisher Pin. From 12 pm to 2 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm, children are welcome into the activity area to hone their skills to prepare themselves for the 'Beat The Clock Challenge' for 10 mins. 

Participants who received a event passport and are welcome to challenge the timing of the day from 2 pm to 4 pm. Successful completion of the 'Beat The Clock Challenge' will entitle them to one stamp on their event passport. Complete all 3 stamps to receive a Finisher Pin.
