  • Parent-Child Learn-to-Play Sport – Athletics, Canoe, Tennis, Volleyball: aimed at providing children with a variety of sport experiences, the programme also enlightens parents about the importance of a multi-sport exposure for their children, offering recommendations to develop their children's motor skills.
  • My 1st Coach: a series of games and physical challenges designed to explore and experience different fundamental movement skills that parents can do with their child.

2. Chill Out and Delight in Sweet Memories at I-SCREAM SDC!

Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) is ready to beat the heat and make this June holiday season a memorable one with the highly anticipated event, I-SCREAM SDC! Families are invited to indulge in the coolest and most action-packed event of the season with a wide range of activities and sweet treats for everyone!

The highlight of I-SCREAM SDC is undoubtedly The Great SingaPaw Ice Cream Show, a fun and interactive puppet show that will leave both children and adults captivated. Join SingaPaw as he takes the stage and creates the greatest 'SingaPaw ice-cream' in town. Tickets for this show are available at $15 per ticket or $12 for members, and each ticket includes a complimentary cup of artisanal ice cream from Tom's Palette, Singapore's very own unique gelato creators.

4. Singapore International Festival of Arts Open In May

The Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) returns from 19 May to 4 June 2023 with a fascinating theme - The Anatomy of Performance - Some People. Families can expect 90 performances and activities, including 4 newly commissioned productions and 11 invited international presentations across 14 venues Families can also go online to experience a new series of writing and animated art.

While many of the performances maybe for an older audience, families may wish to catch HUMANS 2.0 by Circa (Australia), a symphony of acrobatics, sound, and light or visit We Will Slam You With Our Wings, a video and sound installation of seven hanging screens representing a series of 19th century imperialistic portraits. 

5. School's Out, Challenge On! at Eastpoint Mall

10. Join the LEGO NINJAGO Academy at Compass One

Get ready to unleash your potential at the LEGO NINJAGO Academy at the Compass One atrium from 1 to 18 June. Together with master Lloyd and new characters Arin, Sora and Baby Dragon Riyu, young heroes are invited to join the Academy and undergo ninja training.

Prepare to fight the evil forces with a weapon building station, a Spinjitzu challenge, and elemental challenges that test speed, agility and endurance. Upon completion of the missions, a LEGO NINJAGO minifigure can be redeemed on-site while stocks last.

Be sure to check out the Central Area Model which is a favourite amongst kids and adults.

While you are at the Gallery, check out the latest photo exhibition titled, “Perspectives of Singapore River” at the City Canvas. Co-created by students from the Media Club of the School of Science and Technology, Singapore and the Urban Redevelopment Authority, this exhibition presents a beautiful collection of photographs that showcases the many facets of Singapore River across the three quays and at various times of the day.  

From historic buildings, timeless bridges and colourful shophouses that line the riverbanks, to the picturesque views, vibrant waterfronts and people-friendly spaces for the community to enjoy, the images underscore the dynamic character of the precinct.

This exhibition will be on till 31 July, so head down to the Singapore City Gallery soon for a fun and enriching time with your family! 

12. My Little 90’s Job Adventure with Kiztopia

Head down to VivoCity to join Kiztopia at My Little 90’s Job Adventure, an insightful world of pretend play comprising eight air-conditioned role play rooms specially designed to simulate real-life scenarios for children to discover a range of professions!

The first edition of a global exhibition, Love The Last March is a sculpture sharing the message of the wildlife extinction crisis that is gripping the globe. But it’s also sharing the message of hope.

Singaporeans will get the first glimpse at the longest sculpture in the world which will be unveiled on National Endangered Species Day,19 May 2023, Friday at the Gardens by the BayA total of 45 of the world’s most endangered species led by a great mountain gorilla, will be marching together in this 192m sculpture. Depicting the greatest animal march on Planet Earth, it aims to bring awareness to the massive rate of wildlife extinction and to help save the animal kingdom.

15. Free Art Jamming, $5 Workshops and More at A Piece Of Home Art Exhibition

A Piece Of Home is a group exhibition featuring 26 young persons with disabilities (PwDs). Organised by ART:DIS and curated by award-winning exhibition-maker John Tung, the comprehensive showcase of over 60 artworks across paintings, prints & ceramics invites viewers to perceive the world differently.

Held at Objectifs, an arts space nestled amongst many art institutions, the exhibition hopes to raise the visibility artists with disabilities, expose them to professional art spaces and invite others into their world where art is a sanctuary. Let their creations ignite your imagination and remind you of the power of finding solace in familiar spaces.

18. KidSTART Stories presents Adventures of Andi

Storybooks come to life this June holidays with a play on Adventures with Andi, based on Minister of State, Ms Sun Xueling’s “What Ants Do” book series. The adapted play tells the tale of Andi’s journey of discovery as he tackles challenges that threaten his family and friends in search of the true meaning of home and friendship. 

In conjunction with the National Family Week, the play celebrates the importance of bonding together as a family. Join us in an adventure of specially curated fun activities and enriching theatre experience. Be swept away in the magic of theatre play with interactive songs and craft sessions that children (ages 3-12), parents, and grandparents alike can enjoy.

KidSTART Stories is an initiative by KidSTART Singapore, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families in early childhood development.

19. Catch the Light Displays at i Light Singapore 2023

i Light Singapore is returning to illuminate Marina Bay from 1 to 25 June 2023. Organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and presented by DBS, Asia’s leading sustainable light festival will transform the Bay into a visual playground replete with creative light art installations and interactive programmes that promise to delight the senses. The Festival will also expand to two new locations - South Beach and Millenia Walk – to offer families fresh experiences and bring the artworks closer to more people. 

20. Gastrobeats Returns to Bayfront Event Space

Gastrobeats 2023 will run from 1 to 25 June 2023 at the Bayfront Event Space! Families will enjoy free entry to this month-long festival organised for the people, by the people!

Explore the thematic spaces and get ready for over 50 food and retail vendors offering amazing locally produced hand-crafted burgers to delicious chicken wings! You can also expect LIVE performances and music to accompany you during your visit!

The annual Children's Season returns in 2023! Families can expect 25 participating Museum Roundtable (MR) museums across the island to welcome young ones to immerse in a spread of more than 100 family-friendly programmes!

Themed Hopes and DreamsChildren’s Season 2023 invites young ones to explore different occupations and inventions in past and present Singapore, and inspires them to discover their aspirations.

23. Go on a Pokemon Experience on the Cable Car Ride

For the Pokemon Fans! Head down and celebrate Singapore Cable Car's 50th Anniversary celebrations with a special Pokemon experience! 

Not only will the exteriors of the cable car cabins on the Mount Faber Line be wrapped in the red and white colours of Poké Balls, families can also expect five different interior designs, each themed around first-generation Pokémon like Pikachu and Eevee, as well as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly from the latest Pokémon video games.

That's not all! At Mount Faber Peak, families will also be able to snap pictures at various photo points – including vintage cable car cabins – with a variety of Pokémon like Pikachu, Pichu, Snorlax and Psyduck!

Follow Calvin on his quest to find his lost shoes and earn a reward, customise your own souvenirs at the free activities, or simply spend the day playing with and getting to know Calvin’s friends who live in the Gardens. And as the sun sets, lay your picnic mat to enjoy an outdoor movie screening among the Supertrees! There will also be weekly thematic events like Family Week, Nature Week and even a Pets Week too! 

25. Changi Experience Studio’s ‘A Night at the Airport’ Family Camp is Back!

While chores are not typically a child’s go-to version of ‘play’ or associated with fun times, The Artground (TAG) has collaborated with The Cminors to create Clean Up, Or Else! - an environment designed to make doing chores fun and meaningful, and even take the children on a literary wordplay spin-around!

In this latest arts installation, household chores balloon to enormous proportions to encourage active exploration and literary fun through poems and play to bring home the messages of shared responsibilities and of building good habits.

27. Have Monstrous Fun! @ The Arts House

Monstrous Fun! @ The Arts House invites families to embark on a literary adventure and let their imagination run free in the fantastical world of children’s stories by Singapore-based authors. Families can expect a wide range of captivating literary-based programmes in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil for children aged 3-12 years at The Art House.

Monstrous Fun! presents a line-up of interactive programmes that brings these stories to life. This includes the immersive The Arts House Story Tour that takes children on a journey to discover the history behind Singapore’s oldest government building and the Giant Poetry Wall that invites young ones to try their hand at crafting their very own poems. Participants can also anticipate the return of the well-loved Magical Monster Hunt with mystical mysteries and puzzles to uncover, and activities that blend arts and craft with children’s stories such as wire sculpture making and mask painting.

With a dizzying array of programmes that are specially curated to encourage children’s curiosity in all things literary, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Monstrous Fun! @ The Arts House.  

28. Explore Goodman Arts Centre at the Goodman Open House

Goodman Arts Centre opens its doors once again for a meaningful and fun-filled day of programmes and activities for families ranging across a variety of art forms such as music, dance and visual arts. Showcasing the unique talents of artists at Singapore’s largest arts enclave while engaging the community through the arts, this year’s Open House presents an eclectic array of open studios, workshops, performances, all-day activities, and a pop-up market. 

At the Goodman Open House, families can expect garden trails, live painting demonstrations and storytelling sessions that activate different outdoor pockets of the enclave. Step into artists’ studios for personal viewing and sharing sessions with the artists. Join in with dancers and musicians and wind down with a sound bath. The festivities culminate with a Tenants Parade in celebration of the artists, where participants are invited to showcase their special creations from the day’s exciting workshops and activities.

29. Bouncy Fun with Looney Tunes @ Suntec City

30. The 4th Children's Biennale Returns

Set to spark conversations around the pressing issues of today, the 4th edition of the Children's Biennale returns to the National Gallery of Singapore from 27 May 2023 to 31 March 2025 and uses questions such as "what kind of world do we live in today, and what kind of world would you like to livein?" to craft its theme of ‘Let’s Make a Better Place’.

Families can explore 11 new artworks by international artists that spotlight four core values: Care, Collaborate, Imagine and Respect for free.

31. Naruto Celebrates 20 Years with an Exhibition

The NARUTO TV Animation 20th Anniversary Exhibition will be in Singapore from 29 May to 2 Jul 2023 at Let's Play Marina Square. This exciting exhibition will  showcase classic scenes being brought to life, immersive experiences, as well as exclusive merchandise! 

A total of 8 classic scenes from the popular Manga will be brough to life, including classic moves such as Sasuke’s "Mangekyo Sharingan” and Kakashi “Curse Sealing”!
