An immersive Minecraft adventure comes to life at Mandai Wildlife Reserve this April in a massive "phygital" quest to save a village from a zombie attack.

If your children spend their weekends building digital empires, it is time to bring those skills into the real world. Making its first stop in Asia, Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is arriving at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve this April.
This isn't just a walk-through gallery; it’s a high-energy, "phygital" (physical + digital) adventure. Families will step into the shoes of heroes to navigate a one-hour story-driven quest. Whether you are a seasoned pro or have never played the game, the experience is designed to be intuitive, collaborative, and, most importantly, a fantastic way for the kids to burn off some creative energy.
The Quest: Save the Village
The experience is split into eight themed rooms, meticulously designed to look exactly like the game’s iconic biomes. Visitors are tasked with rescuing a village under siege from a zombie attack.
- Immersive Experience: The experience blends large-scale immersive projections, theatrical sets, motion-tracking gameplay and experiential storytelling.
- Interactive Gameplay: Every participant is equipped with a "Orb of Interaction." This nifty device allows you to "mine" resources, interact with mobs, and actually influence the story as it unfolds.

Iconic Biomes: You’ll journey through the Minecraft Forest and other recognisable environments brought to life via large-scale projections and theatrical sets.
Collectables and Rewards
No Minecraft mission is complete without loot. After successfully fending off the zombies, heroes can head to the Trading Post to pick up a memento of their journey. Plus, every player can claim a highly sought-after exclusive in-game cape to show off their heroic feat back in the digital version of the game.
Make it a Full Day Out at Mandai
Located at the new Green Canvas event space within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, this indoor attraction is a perfect anchor for a family day out. Since the experience takes about an hour, you can easily pair it with a visit to the Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, or Bird Paradise.
With new dining options nearby, it’s a convenient one-stop destination for school holiday fun.

Those who sign up for the waitlist will receive exclusive early access to tickets when presales begin on 10 March 2026, ahead of general ticket sales starting from 11 March 2026.
Tickets are priced from
- $46 for adults and $40 for children on weekdays,
- $51 for adults and $44 for children (age three to twelve years old) on weekends.
Venue and Dates
Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue runs from 24 Apr to 13 Sep 2026 at Green Canvas located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Admission is by allocated timeslots with 15-minute intervals, available from
- 11am to 7pm on weekdays and
- 10am to 8pm on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
