1. Gallop Into Lunar New Year at Mandai Wildlife Reserve

Admission: Start from S$20 for single attraction and S$50 for multi-attraction destination pass
Celebrate the Year of the Horse at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve from 17 February to 3 March 2026 with festive decorations, lion dance performances and limited-edition zodiac gold coins for the first 188 visitors daily at each park and Curiosity Cove.
Across Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild Asia, enjoy festive animal presentations and Lunar New Year-themed enrichment featuring Grevy’s zebras (and their foal), Brazilian tapirs, Indian rhinos, wattled cranes and Malayan tapirs. Don’t forget to catch special appearances by the loveable falabellas – the world’s smallest breed of horses.
Complete the Horse-picious digital trail on the Mandai App to redeem an exclusive keychain, join Ranger Buddies craft activities at Curiosity Cove, and shop festive merchandise like from tangerine bags, purses to red packets made from plantable paper that grow into flowers and herbs — a fun and memorable way to welcome the Lunar New Year.
2. Visit the Istana Open House This Lunar New Year

Venue: Istana
Date: 22 February 2026, 8.30am to 6.00pm
Admission: Free for Singaporeans and PR (details from previous Open House)
The Lunar New Year Istana Open House (IOH) will be held on 22 February 20265, 8.30am to 6.00pm. The IOH will be open to all visitors.
During your visit, you may embark on a Istana Heritage Tour of the Istana grounds to explore its rich history, architectural heritage, and unique landscape of flora and fauna or go on a self-guided tour of the Istana Villa.
Admission to the Istana Open House is free for Singaporeans and PR with standard fees at $20 for adults and $10 for children 4 to 12 years old.
3. Ring in the Year of the Horse at Resorts World Sentosa

Venue: Resorts World Sentosa, Grand Steps
Dates: 17 Feb 2026, 10 am - 11.15 am
Admission: Free
Resorts World Sentosa ushers in the Year of the Horse, with a festive public showcase at the Grand Steps on Chinese New Year Day 1, featuring large-scale performances and vibrant cultural elements to mark an auspicious start to the new year.

A high-energy showcase featuring Prosperity Lions, big flag performers, drummers, dancers, and a 20-metre balloon dragon symbolising growth,abundance and momentum in the Year of the Horse. -
Auspicious Stunt Lion Dance:
Champion Stunt Lions take centre stage in an auspicious lion dance blessing to welcome prosperity and good fortune. -
Festive Finale & Meet-and-Greet:
The programme concludes with post-show interactions with the Gods of Fortune at the Grand Steps.

4. Step into Kampong Gelam for Heritage, Flavours & Festive Fun

Venue: Kampong Gelam District
Dates: 11 Feb - 15 Mar 2026
The iconic Kampong Gelam district is set to transform into a lively cultural hub from 11 Feb to 15 Mar 2026. This year’s theme, "Honouring the Roots, Sampling the Future," offers families a perfect opportunity to introduce children to local Malay heritage while enjoying a high-energy atmosphere.
The bazaar remains the heart of the event, featuring a mix of traditional flavours and modern "Instagrammable" treats that will appeal to all ages.
On Saturday, 28 February 2026, Baghdad Street will host a massive communal breaking of fast. Witness the spirit of gotong-royong as 500 participants, including beneficiaries from Jalan Besar GRC, sit together for a meal sourced directly from local Kampong Gelam businesses.
5. Kick Off the Sunday Family Series at Dairy Farm Mall with Play, Crafts & Smiles

Venue: Dairy Farm Mall
Dates: 22 Feb 2026, 11am - 3pm
Admission: Free
The inaugural Sunday Family Series is coming to Dairy Farm Mall! Happening on the last Sunday of every month, this is where families get to enjoy free kids-friendly activities with play, creativity and smiles!
For the very first edition, families can expect fun and more at the Heart Plushie Craft Workshop, Floral Balloon Sculpting, and the Love & Smiles Ball Pit. That's not all! Each child who completes the activities will receive a $10 UE Mall Voucher (to be used at Dairy Farm Mall FairPrice Finest on the event day 22 Feb only)!
