Reflections at Bukit Chandu

Reflections at Bukit Chandu is a museum managed by the National Museum of Singapore, under the National Heritage Board, that tells the story of the Malay Regiment in the Battle of Pasir Panjang, during which the heavily outnumbered soldiers from the regiment made a heroic last stand against a 13,000-strong Japanese force.

Battle for Singapore 2023

In commemoration of the 81st anniversary of the Fall of Singapore, NHB and members of the Museum Roundtable have organised a series of public events for members of the public to explore and engage with Singapore’s World War II (WWII) history.

Battle for Singapore 2023 will take participants on a journey to trace the roots of Singapore’s wartime past, and uncover the hidden stories about various World War II (WWII) sites through over 100 programmes and tours!
