Half of 2022 has quickly passed by - since the relaxing of safe management measures (SMMs), we have seen lots of events and experiences happening over the last 6 months and it doesn't look like we will have a slowdown anytime soon!
So without further ado, let's take a look at new things that you can do with your family in July for MORE family fun!

1.Save Tigo at Mandai in the Singapore Zoo

In conjunction with Global Tiger Day, join LingoAce on an adventure to Save Tigo at Mandai in the Singapore Zoo on 31 Jul 2022 at 11.30 am or at 1.30 pm!
In this 1h journey to Save Tigo, families will embark on a learning quest to discover the missing pieces that complete Tigo. Complete each challenge to move one step closer to saving Tigo! Simply complete 9 challenges to successfully rescue Tigo and bring him back home!

2. Go Splashing At The Dino-Themed Water Playground At Causeway Point

Families can expect more fun and excitement in their next visit to Causeway Point with the opening of the new Dino-themed water playground! Located at Level 7 of the mall, the playground includes slides, splashes and water sprouts designed as dinosaurs and more!
Starting from 25 Jun 2022, Causeway Point has implemented hourly sessions of 45 minutes playtime per session from 10 am till 9 pm (last entry at 8 pm).
3. Also Splash At The Reopened Oasis WaterPark @ Yishun!
Location: Next to MSCP, Blk 307 Yishun Ring Road

Also a water playground, Oasis WaterPark located within the HDB blocks at Yishun Ring Road has reopened in June 2022 to much excitement!
Divided into three main play areas, the waterpark features water sprays and buckets, a shallow pool for wading and more! There are also ample seating in the area for you to rest your feet while the kids splash around! The waterpark also provide toilets and bathing facilities to clean up after playtime!

4. Catch The NDP2022 Fireworks

The National Day Parade (NDP) 2022 will be held on 9 August 2022 at The Float@Marina Bay. Families can expect the Red Lions, aerial fly past, marching contingents, spectacular performances, fireworks and more! Not just at the Marina Bay, there will also be activities happening throughout the island for more people to enjoy the festivities!
For many families, heading down to the Marina Bay area to catch the fireworks is a great family experience and here are the NDP2022 rehearsal dates and firework timings for those who feel like making the trip!

If you have already visited this massive bouncy castle and carnival event, you will still want to get ready for Let's Play @ D'Marquee 2.0! 8. Discover Traditional Craft In Contemporary Designs

The making of traditional Chinese lanterns is an ancient practice that may be traced back to the Han Dynasty era in China. The art of rangoli is a multi-coloured floor decoration that originated in India and dates back thousands of years. Today, the products of these age-old crafts, along with others such as ketupat weaving and Peranakan beadwork and embroidery, have been reimagined into contemporary product prototypes as part of the National Heritage Board’s (NHB) inaugural Craft X Design showcase.
9. Visit The Reopened D'Resort at Downtown East
Families can look forward to a rustic getaway at D'Resort from 15 July 2022 with its return after a 2-year hiatus. The popular staycation option will open with two new attractions, including horse riding and feeding at Gallop Stable, and aquaponics organic farming at Metro Farm.
Located within walking distance of Downtown East, families can enjoy the various F&B and entertainment venues at the mall as well!
10. Go Racing At RaceHub At Orchard Road

*SCAPE Playspace overseeing Grange Road has been transformed into RaceHub, an electric go-karting track which will also feature elements of fitness and wellbeing for the community. Families will be able to experience electric karting under floodlights at *SCAPE, the first-ever in the Orchard Road shopping district.
Children above 9-years-old and with a minimum height of 130cm will be eligible to go on the electric go-karts while younger kids (3 - 7 years old) can go on the Junior Car.
11. Have Family Fun at the Refurbished Civil Service Club Tessensohn

Check out the refurbished Civil Service Club Tessensohn. It’s open to public, and packed with activities for the family. Enjoy Singapore’s first robotics discovery centre, and let the kids try their hand at fly a drone or VR. For the sporty ones, climb the indoor rock walls and bouldering at Ground up. Families can also visit the 20 lane bowling centre with gutter guards for kids to enjoy a good time too!
Do not worry about feeding the little tummies, there’s lots of options in the neighborhood, including Brunches and Enchanted Cafe, but don’t miss the lovely biscotti and bread-of-the-day at Biscotti Bakery!
12. Catch Gretel and Hansel - A Mandarin Children's Theatre by The Little Company

Get a glimpse of the era that predates smart devices in the National Museum of Singapore’s latest experiential showcase, Off / On: Everyday Technology that Changed Our Lives, 1970s–2000s, and be transported back to a time where gadgets such as pagers, payphones and typewriters were among the technologies that were widely used.
Families will find specially curated selection of technological icons of that era, with interactive elements that invite you to discover and experience how these technologies transformed and made an indelible mark on our everyday life. 14. Go On Discovery Trips With PAssion Wave @ Sembawang

PAssion Wave has lined up a series of fun and interesting activities this July suitable for families!
Go on the the Mangrove Discovery, a weekend adventure where you and your kids (10 years old and above) will have a thrilling time together kayaking and taking Instagram-worthy pictures along the scenic northern coast of Khatib Bongsu.
Families may also be keen to take part in the specially arranged Kayak ‘N’ Klean (Parent & Child) programme for children as young as 7 years old to try out kayaking and participate in one of PAssion Wave’s signature activities. Combining water sports with environmental conservation, participants will be taught the basics of kayaking, and have the opportunity to keep Singapore’s waterways clean at the same time by picking up marine litter.
15. Join The New LCS Footyball Trial Class

Footyball, known as Voetjebal in Europe, is the first football playing concept in the Netherlands for children (boys and girls) from 2 to 5 years old in which parents actively participate in the sessions with their child.
Lion City Sailors Football School is bringing this new concept to Singapore and is running a series of FREE trial classes for parents to experience the sport before signing up. This is a parent/child programme where parents are expected to take part in the activity together, and is suitable for kids between 2 to 5 years old.
16. Experience The Arts At Sing’theatre's Musical Theatre Fringe Festival

The Musical Theatre Fringe Festival features a wide range of programmes for both the young and not-so-young. The festival shines a spotlight on local musicals, fantastic local & international performers and brings together audiences to WATCH, LEARN and ENGAGE in Musical Theatre
