Minion Land at Resorts World Sentosa

Illumination's Minion Land opened to much fanfare Universal Studios Singapore in Feb 2025. Look forward to multiple Minion-themed and exclusive rides across 3 distinct areas such as Minion Marketplace, Gru’s Neighbourhood, and Super Silly Fun Land.

Singapore Oceanarium

Curiosity Cove at Mandai

Parents, prepare for a brilliant new destination to spark your children's imagination and deepen their connection to the natural world! Curiosity Cove, Singapore's largest indoor nature-inspired playscape opened at the end of 2025 and invites your family to visit them soon!

Located at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, this multi-sensory adventure is specially designed for children aged 3 to 12, promising an immersive and highly developmental play experience. This indoor location is a perfect complement to the outdoor parks, ensuring that educational and exciting play can continue year-round, regardless of the weather—a massive plus for Singaporean families!

The brand-new venue is located at Mandai Wildlife East, the eastern cluster of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

Rainforest Wild Asia 

Venue: Mandai Wildlife Reserve
Admission: $43 for adults, $31 for children (3 to 12 years old) and $20 for senior citizens

Opened in the Q1 2025, Rainforest Wild Asia offers a unique rainforest adventure with immersive animal encounters and adrenaline-pumping experiences for the whole family. 

Across 10 different zones, families will get to navigate a multi-layered rainforest adventure, where animal encounters turn into delightful surprises. By tuning in to nature’s subtle cues, visitors learn to seek out wildlife hidden among the trees and foliage.

There's also the Adventure Plus experiences where families can engage in more adventure like stepping off a 20m platform, play at the open bouncing play area and crawl through a 60m cave tunnel! 

Mandai Boardwalk

Venue: Mandai Wildlife Reserve
Admission: Free 

Explore the new Mandai Boardwalk at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a perfect peaceful destination for families. Located at Mandai Wildlife East, this is a public area that is free for families to visit and explore. 

The boardwalk celebrates the fascinating connection between the forest and water ecosystems through five thematic stations and a lookout point along the route. 

As you walk along, the meandering 3.3km Mandai Boardwalk skirts the perimeter of River Wonders and Singapore Zoo and provides visitors with a peaceful space to observe local wildlife along the edge of the Reservoir, and to catch glimpses of some of the animals being cared for inside the Singapore Zoo.

Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree

The Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree is located just a short drive from the city centre and nestled within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, the 4.6-hectare resort provides direct access to renowned zoological parks such as Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise and the upcoming Rainforest Wild.  

Drawing inspiration from the rainforest’s natural layers, the 338-room resort seamlessly integrates with its luxuriant forest scape designed around the mature trees on the site. 

The resort houses 314 guest rooms and suites as well as 24 tree houses, each with its own private patio while hovering above ground. Staying at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree also unlocks exclusive wildlife experiences across the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden Waterplay - Reopens

The beloved Waterplay at Jacob Ballas Children's Garden has undergone a spectacular transformation, reopening with a significantly expanded space and captivating new features. Now stretching across approximately 500 square meters—more than triple its original size—this interactive play zone offers children an immersive way to explore the wonders of the water cycle through fun and engaging water features.

Do note that only adults with kids can enter Jacob Ballas Children's Garden. 

Sengkang Water Slide - Refreshed and Reopened

Venue: Sengkang Swimming Complex

The Sengkang Swimming Complex is one of two sheltered pool managed by Sports Singapore, and definitely worth the trip if you love water slides. 

Since it's revamp in Jun 2025, families can now enjoy five new water slides at the swimming complex, offering varied experiences from gentle descents to thrilling multi-lane rides. The slides at the pool includes 

  • Cotton Candy Bowl: Enjoy the sensations of this fully enclosed tube slide as you make your way down! Close your eyes and let the water carry you through more than 60m down Cotton Candy Bowl.
  • Sugar Rush: At almost 80m long, Sugar Rush is the longest and gentlest water slide at Sengkang Swimming Complex. Enjoy a slow, winding journey down while taking in the sights of the neighbourhood.
  • Rainbow Dash: The only multi-slide offering, Rainbow Dash is an energetic experience for those looking for a more thrilling ride. Race down alongside friends or family members and see who reaches the pool first!
  • Jelly Lime Loops: This fully enclosed tube slide experience offers a short ride for those who want to enjoy twists and turns, but also hit the water quick. Hop into Jelly Lime Loops and meander through the tunnel before reaching the water.
  • Jellybean Swizzle: Jellybean Swizzle is the water slide for those looking for a quick yet dynamic slide experience. Enjoy a moment in the open and swirl along with the water, before re-entering the tube and finally plunging into the pool.

Chinatown Heritage Centre

Nestled in the heart of Singapore’s bustling Chinatown, the Chinatown Heritage Centre brings the district’s rich history to life within three beautifully restored shophouses on Pagoda Street.

Reopened in Feb 2025, families will discover every corner of the centre steeped in the memories of yesteryear, offering an immersive journey into the lives of Chinatown’s earliest residents.

The centre is divided into three main zones, each offering a unique perspective on the migrant experience

  • Zone 1: Shophouse Living (Level 1 & 2) – Step into the humble homes of early settlers and experience daily life in a traditional shophouse.
  • Zone 2: Arrival and Settling In (Level 3) – Follow the journey of Chinese immigrants as they navigated new challenges in Singapore.
  • Zone 3: Migrants’ End & Heritage Brands (Level 2) – Discover how these migrants shaped Chinatown’s identity, from traditional trades to enduring local brands.

New Time Capsule Experience at the Singapore Flyer

Venue: Singapore Flyer, 30 Raffles Avenue

The Singapore Flyer unveils a fully integrated 75-minute journey including the new Time Capsule Experience! Through the use of full-screen video animations, projection mapping, and LiDAR technology, visitors will travel through centuries guided by R65, a time-travelling robot, and learn more about Singapore's past. 

The experience ends with a ride on the iconic Singapore Flyer, making the usual 30min ride into a more immersive 75min experiential journey! 

SuperPark - Refreshed and Reopens

Venue: SuperPark Singapore, #01-488 Suntec City (Entrance at Level 1, facing Olivia & Co.)

SuperPark Singapore reopens in 2025 after a revamp. Families will discover 34 exciting activities, including 13 brand-new attractions. There are lots of slides, running around and active play and is definitely one of the best indoor playground for kids, teens, and even parents who love to play!

Hydrodash - Redesigned and Reopened

Venue: The Palawan @ Sentosa

Get ready to make a splash! Singapore's ultimate floating water park, HydroDash, has reopened at The Palawan @ Sentosa, bringing with it a wave of exciting new features and challenges. The aqua playground is back and bigger than ever, promising an unforgettable adventure for thrill-seekers of all ages.

With over 30 obstacles, including 12 brand-new additions, HydroDash offers a dynamic experience that will test your agility, strength, and coordination. This massive inflatable water park, spanning 60m by 61m, is designed for both kids and adults, making it the perfect destination for family fun, friendly competitions, or even team-building activities.

Dig Dig Land - Construction-themed Playground at Jurong

Dig Dig Land, located at Jurong Play Grounds (JPG), is a 4000 square-foot construction-themed outdoor playground for children aged 18 months and above. The playground offers hands-on experiences like an excavator digging zone and a kid-friendly fishing area, it allows kids to explore, learn, and enhance motor skills in a safe environment. 

Dig Dig Land operates on Fridays, weekends, and select public holidays, offering 1-hour time slot till 6 pm. 

HappyWiz Indoor Playground

One of the most exciting opening, HappyWiz Indoor Playground occupies the entire 4th floor of iMall at Marina Parade Central, making it one of the largest and tallest indoor playgrounds in Singapore. 

The first impression of HappyWiz Indoor Playground is that it is massive. The play structures goes up to 5 levels (we were told about 7.5m high) with a spiral slide that comes down from high above! With different play elements, families can definitely spend a long time playing and exploring with their little ones here! 

SMIGY United Square - Relocated

SMIGY Indoor Playground United Square shifts to a new location at Level B1, just under Starbucks in 2025.

Younger kids will be excited by the huge ball-pit filled balls of different colours. . From throwing the balls at the interactive wall to filling up the "space" ball picker. we are sure the young ones (and older ones too) will get stuck in this zone for quite some time.

Families can also spend hours "digging" and "scooping" at the new hinoki beads, sand play area. We really love this part of the playground for the natural lighting and view outside of the glass panels! 

Jolly Jungle - Playground in a Library

Looking for a fun and engaging way to entertain your children indoors? Look no further than Jolly Jungle Indoor Playground, a brand new addition to the vibrant Our Tampines Hub in Singapore's east side! A new indoor playground opened the East! SkyHop by Yooland is a new indoor playground located at Tampines offering various play options for little ones of various age groups! Glass Rotunda @ National Museum of Singapore

Keppel Coastal Trail at Labrador Nature Park

Located at Labrador Nature Park, the 340m-long Keppel Coastal Trail opens in late Jan and offers family another option to explore this popular park. 

The trail consists of a 90m-long elevated wheelchair-accessible boardwalk with views of the sea and a 250m-long path which brings visitors through a coastal beach forest habitat. 

Interpretative signage along the trail provides information about flora and fauna that can be sighted in the area, such as the White-bellied Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) and the Paradise Tree Snake (Chrysopelea paradisi).

Tampines Boulevard Park - East and West

Located in Tampines North, Tampines Boulevard Park is a new 2025 addition to Singapore’s green spaces. The park is divided into east and west sections, with the west section opening in Sep 2024, offering a variety of family-friendly nature options. The east section of the park opened in Feb 2025, adding a vibrant and nature-filled space to the area. Tampines Boulevard offers offers a plethora of activities for families, children, and even furry friends.
