Hub & Spoke is the gateway to the incredible Jurassic Mile, a major draw for families. This is Singapore’s largest permanent outdoor display of life-sized dinosaurs, stretching over one kilometre of the cycling and jogging path. Visitors can expect to be wowed by over 20 different pre-historic creatures from nine species—including a towering Tyrannosaurus Rex and gigantic dinosaur eggs. The tallest exhibit stands at almost five metres high! This scenic journey is ideal for a leisurely stroll or an exciting family cycle.

For families wishing to tackle the Jurassic Mile and beyond, GoCycling is conveniently located at Hub & Spoke. They carry a wide array of bicycles suitable for all family members, including kids bikes (from S$8/hour), childseat bikes (from S$16/hour), and even tandem bikes (from S$20/hour).

A significant benefit for parents is the flexibility: bicycles can be returned at the East Coast Park outlet or any of the other 12 outlets island-wide, making a one-way family adventure easily achievable.

Here's a little tip for those feeling adventurous! It is possible to cycle all the way to downtown Marina Bay from here! You will pass by East Coast Park, coming up to via the Changi Park connector, thus combining a full day of active fun for the family! 

Dining and Relaxation for the Whole Family

A Meal at Hub & Spoke Café

The Hub & Spoke Café is a fantastic spot for a family meal. It is open early for breakfast, serving traditional favourites like kaya toast sets and otah soft buns, alongside local classics such as Beef Rendang and Laksa. Western and fusion options, including lobster rolls and chilli crab pasta, are also available.

Patrons can also enjoy a taste of childhood with complimentary ice gem cookies

With its full-length glass windows, the entire space is bright and cheery from the sunlight and allows visitors to observe the events and happenings outside too! 

Overflow: A Garden Bar for Parental downtime

Just beside the café is Overflow, a cosy garden bar that is open till late on selected days. This is the first and only bar at Changi Airport with live music, making it a perfect spot for parents to enjoy some evening downtime once the children are settled. Different acts play crowd favourites in the evenings from Weds to Sats. Parents can enjoy a glass of wine or a pint of beer, paired with delectable bar bites like their Classic Garlic Chicken Wings.

Fitness and Convenience

The Gym Pods: A Quick Workout

Fitness-focused parents can squeeze in a quick workout at The Gym Pods, conveniently located at Hub & Spoke. This pay-per-use facility offers two options

  • The Gym Pod: A private workout in a container gym with commercial-grade equipment (from S$7.50/session).
  • The Flow Pod: Class-based virtual fitness activities, offering options from HIIT to barre or yoga in a private setting (from S$10/session). 

Sessions can be booked easily via The Gym Pod app.

Freshen Up and Re-Gear

Should you decide to cycle, run, or simply need to refresh, the Pay-per-use Showers are available for $5.00 per person per entry, or $7.00 for a two-time entry. They are fully equipped with bath amenities, hot water, and a hair dryer. Lockers are available for safekeeping of personal belongings. Towels can be purchased from a vending machine or cashier (S$4.50) or bundled with the Shower & Dine Bundle (S$16).

To access the showers or make a purchase, simply visit the cashier at the adjacent Hub & Spoke Café or use the Changi Airport’s mobile application.

Other Amenities and Visitor Information

  • Tranquility and Nature: The world’s first outdoor bamboo garden in an airport. Spanning over 526 square metres, this lush open-air garden features tall tropical bamboos, stone paths and quiet seating areas. Inspired by Kyoto’s famous bamboo forest, it’s the perfect spot to relax, take photos, or enjoy a short break during your layover or walk along the Changi Airport Connector.

  • For Fur-Parents: Jurassic Bark and Butterfly Trail, South-east Asia's first dog run located within an airport, offering a spacious, lush outdoor space where pet owners may bring their dogs to roam freely. Adjacent to the dog run, visitors may enjoy a 100-metre garden trail winding through a vibrant collection of flowering plant species that attracts a variety of butterflies.

  • Traveler Discount: Travellers can flash a valid boarding pass or proof of itinerary within eight hours of arrival or departure to get 10% off all food and drinks (excluding alcohol) at Hub & Spoke Café and Overflow Bar.
