With the new season pass that pays for itself in just two to three visits, Universal Studios Singapore (USS) has pretty much become our new playground. However, did you know that there are various height restrictions for the theme park’s rides and attractions? Bookmark this list for your next visit with the little ones!
No Height Restrictions Rides & AttractionÂ
Treasure Hunters
Set off on an intrepid expedition through Egypt, where your kids can drive a vintage motor car and spot some animals along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for cobras, crocodiles, and more.
Tip: We recommend making this your first ride of the day for a walk-on, as the wait time steadily increases to 30 to 40 minutes later on in the day.
Dino-soarin’
For Disneyland fans, think of this ride as the popular Dumbo ride. The best part? The queue is much more manageable, and moves quickly.Â
Accelerator
Experience centrifugal force as you spin round and round in a little yellow pod. Warning: this ride isn’t for those with motion sickness!
Buggie Boogie
Have a dance party with your favourite Minion friends on board this groovy carousel! Hop on a variety of coloured bug-like creatures, or sit as a group in a sleek car.Â
Shrek 4D Adventure
Don a pair of cool 3D glasses, and get ready to follow Shrek and his friends on a swashbuckling adventure.Â
Tip: Go for the stationary seats if you have children who are easily spooked. Spoiler alert: you’ll feel ‘spiders’ scuttering around your feet at some point during the show!

Silly Swirly
Take to the air in a hot air balloon, and enjoy a fabulous view of Super Silly Fun Land
Canopy Flyer
This is our daughter’s favourite ride of the lot. Soar through the skies like a pterodactyl, complete with your legs dangling in mid-air
Enchanted Airways
This mini rollercoaster doesn’t skimp on the speed and dips. For the littler ones, we recommend building up to this so as not to scare them off
Minimum Height Requirement of 102 cm
Puss in Boots’ Giant Journey
To be frank, we didn’t really enjoy this ride as it stopped too often (and much too jerkily) for our liking. Give it a go, and let us know how you find it!
Transformers the Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle
Fight alongside Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and the rest of the autobots in a fearsome battle with the Decepticons.
Tip: Try to snag front-row seats in the simulator if you can for a great view of all the action
Despicable Me Minion Mayhem
What say you to shrinking down to the size of a Minion? This is a simulator ride, and children below 102cm in height can experience this from stationary seats.
Minimum Height Requirement of 107cm
Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure
Navigate the rapids on a circular river raft, and look out for dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes. Hold on tight, for there’s a large drop at the end!Â
Tip: You, will, get, wet! Gather the gang, and huddle into a nifty drying pod for just SGD5 after the ride.
Minimum Height Requirement of 110cm
Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase
Go on a mission to stop Macaroni the Merciless and his minions from stealing all of Earth’s spaghetti. Seriously, how cute does that sound?
Minimum Height Requirement of 122cm
Revenge of the Mummy
This indoor rollercoaster is one of our favourite rides! A thrilling escapade awaits, complete with drops in the dark, terrifying mummies, and skittering scarab beetles
Minimum Height Requirement of 125cm
For the older kids, go all out with Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon. Don’t forget to deposit all your belongings in the free lockers located just beside the rides!
Tip: Don’t forget to download the USS app, it’d be your best friend throughout the day. Use it to check ride wait times, as well as meet and greet locations and timings.
P.S. Do note that an accompanying companion is required for children below 122cm.Â
For Magic Potion Spin, this applies to children between 92cm and 110cm. Have the best time creating memories with the fam!
