The National Museum of Singapore will soon be unveiling a new permanent exhibition at the revamped Glass Rotunda, previously home to the beloved Story of the Forest digital art installation from 2016 to 2024. The reopening is expected to be in Aug 2025.
The new installation invites you into an immersive, multi-sensorial experience, taking you back in time to explore key moments in Singapore's history and highlighting the importance of the sea in shaping our country's past, present and future.
Visitors can look forward to engaging with exciting new approaches in storytelling. RFID wristbands will provide a personalised, interactive experience, allowing you to actively participate in conversations about Singapore's history.
