1. Chingay Returns with a Physical Festival & Heartlands Celebrations

2. Go On An Adventure @ the LEGO¬ģ¬†Prosperity Burrows

In this upcoming Lunar New Year, The LEGO Group is ushering in the Year of the Rabbit by encouraging the spirit of togetherness through building fun family moments and celebrating traditions. From new LEGO Lunar New Year festive sets to fun-filled events, families can come together to create new memories with exciting activities and exclusive promotions. 

From 12 Jan to 5 Feb 2023, families are invited to a themed adventure with the LEGO Prosperity Burrows event organised in partnership with Suntec City! From cleaning the burrows with a specially curated LEGO Cleaning Machine at the Spring Clean Tu-gether station to inviting visitors to a festive hop at the Harmonise Tu-gether station, families can come together to complete these themed challenges and win a LEGO polybag.

There will also be plenty of photo opportunities with a giant bunny centrepiece with a 360-degree rotation to snap a photo with, and special appearances by LEGO mascots giving out limited LEGO red packets with mini figures on selected days. 

3. Light To Night 2023 Returns To Civic District

The popular light festival, Light to Night returns to the Civic District from 6 to 26 Jan 2023. Light to Night Festival 2023 embraces the theme of 'Here and Now' and explores what it really means to be in the present. Inspired by the process of responding to one’s time and environment through art, the festival invites visitors to reflect on contemporary topics through newly commissioned works by local and international artists in the Civic District.

Families can look forward to massive light installations across the buildings located within the Civic District. While there is no official details available yet, we are looking forward to catching the light projections on the National Monuments in the area as well as the use of the Padang to display the many installations!

4. Obstacle Arena & Indoor Water Adventure Plaground at the New HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir

Opened in Jan 2023, the new HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir will be the first reservoir-fronting clubhouse in Singapore and it will boast a number of family-friendly facilities including Action Motion, an obstacle arena where families can challenge each other across multiple challenges, a 6-lane 50m long infinity swimming pool and Aqua Adventure - an indoor water adventure playground (opening in Mid-Feb 2023).

6. Lantern Displays & Exciting Activities at River Hongbao 2023 at Gardens by the Bay

Coming to Gardens by the Bay, families can visit River Hongbao 2023 to celebrate the Chinese New Year Festivities.¬†Come and join the festival's latest mascots, Fu-er and Shou-er to usher in the Year of the Rabbit ŚÖĒgether.

Be dazzled by the lantern displays, spectacular stage performances, carnival games and amusement rides as well as a host of other festivities at River Hongbao 2023. The food street is also making a comeback after 3 years. The event is FREE and no tickets are required for admission.

7. Have An Exciting LNY Celebration at the Bay Spring Carnival by The Show Master

The Bay Spring Carnival is back, and it's bigger and better than ever. This Lunar New Year, The Show Master invites you to this rejuvenated festive playground that features an enchanting Cherry Blossom Garden blooming with fairy lights and complemented by illuminated inflatables to usher in the Year of the Rabbit.

Families can expect over 30 Uncle Ringo carnival rides and games, in addition to Ice Magic: The Great Fantasy On Ice also returns, and scrumptious fairground treats awaits! Bay Spring Carnival is set to be one of the largest carnivals of the year.

8. Be Amaze at the Disney100 Special Light & Sound Show + More at Jewel Changi Airport

9. Visit the Cute Rabbit-themed Art Installation at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) ushers in the Year of The Rabbit with a cheekily named art installation exhibition, (Tu)gether, that is cute and features cute characters for lots of photo opportunities!

The mixed-media artwork located at the Roof Garden of the centre presents a cast of characters from Chinese New Year mythology and these characters will showcase local Chinese New Year practices enjoyed together with family and friends, including playing mahjong, enjoying a steamboat meal and more!

There will also be a special light show with narration of the story of Tu Zai’s journey home to celebrate Chinese New Year with his family and friends. The show happens on 7 Jan, 14 Jan, 28 Jan, 25 Feb and 25 Mar 2023 from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

10. Collect Cute Red Packets At The Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign

Venue: 39 participating museums, heritage institutes and galleries

Returning for its 9th edition, the Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign 2023 will feature red packets inspired by the high-spirited and curious rabbit. This popular annual campaign see families going across the island to collect red packets featuring designs themed according to the 39 participating museums, heritage institutions and galleries.

In addition, families will be able to purchase a limited-edition Collector‚Äôs Album containing a¬†full set of all the red packet designs! There will also be a chance to win a full set of red packets or a limited-edition collector‚Äôs album through online giveaways hosted on the ‚ÄėI Love Museums‚Äô Facebook page.

11. Busk In The Festivities At The Chinatown Chinese New Year Festival

The Chinatown Chinese New Year Festival returns to Chinatown with a street light-up, food and festive fairs, and weekly stage shows, as well as a countdown party too! 

The official street light-up will take place at Kreta Ayer Square on 3 Jan 2023, and will be switched on nightly till 19 Feb in New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, South Bridge Road and, for the first time, Upper Cross Street. 

To celebrate the festivities, the Chinatown Festive Fair will also run from 1 to 21 Jan at Pagoda Street, Smith Street, Sago Street, Temple Street and Trengganu Street  with a Chinatown Food Fair happening at the same period in Smith Street. 

Chinatown will be welcoming the Chinese New Year with a countdown party at Kreta Ayer Square on 21 Jan, from 9 pm to 1 am as well as stage shows on 7, 8, 14 and 15 Jan from 7 pm to 9 pm.  

12. Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2023 at Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial

Join Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH) as they celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with family friendly events and programmes as part of the Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2023! 

Expect family-friendly offerings such as lion dance and festive drumming workshops, temple tours and heritage trails, storytelling, craft activities for the little ones, and more! 17. Make a Visit to the Newly Opened Children's Museum Singapore

Children can take a voyage back in time to olden day Singapore, discover the wonders of nature, explore how our local communities celebrate birthdays and more at the newly opened Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG). 

CMSG will be Singapore‚Äôs first dedicated children‚Äôs¬†museum, which will serve as a ‚Äėstarter museum‚Äô to introduce young visitors and their families to the museum-going experience, and to¬†cultivate a love for museums and lifelong learning.

The museum opened during the holidays but slots have been fully booked. So if you have not visited yet, Jan 2023 might be a good chance to visit! 

18. Programmes for the Little Ones at Textures 2023

Organised by Arts House Limited, Textures 2023 is this year's edition of the annual literary festival that celebrates Singapore literature (SingLit) with a diverse range of free and ticketed programmes.

19. Discover the New Interactive Digital Artwork - Exploring New Frontiers

Popular with families, the ArtScience Museum's permanent exhibit, Future World: Where Art Meet Science reopens with 4 new interactive installations over the year-end school holidays. 

Replacing the previous Park and Sanctuary sections of the exhibit, Future World, is a new gallery, Exploring New Frontiers, with 4 interactive installations for families to have a brand-new experience when visiting the museum.

20. Get Tickets To Disney On Ice 2023

This might not be happening yet, but get ready for Disney On Ice as they return to Singapore over the March school holidays 2023! It's a worldwide party as Disney On Ice presents Mickey and Friends skates into Singapore from 11 to 19 March 2023 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

21. Discover Over 130 Events Island-wide at the Singapore Art Week

Organised by Arts House Limited (AHL), the Aliwal Urban Art Festival (AUAF) makes its return on 14 January 2023 for its seventh edition to showcase Singapore’s vibrant urban culture scene at the Aliwal Arts Centre (AAC). The Festival will feature renowned local artists from different urban art practices.

24. Discover the Nightlife of the Bukit Batok Nature Park @ Wild Clay

DON DON DONKI opened at Jewel Changi Airport on 20 Dec 2022 and if you have not visited yet, this is what you can expect at the aviation-themed outlet! 

The new outlet will have a Halal Corner as well as a dining hall.¬†Exclusively at the Jewel Changi Airport outlet, families can get¬†freshly squeezed fruit juices or ‚ÄúIce Kachang‚ÄĚ in selected fruit flavours at this new¬†Furu Furu Fruit Parlour.
