Sesame Street’s Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover, Oscar and Abby as well as Woody and Winnie Woodpecker join in the fun too. Keep an eye and ear out for Optimus Prime and Megatron, whose special Chinese New Year greetings in Mandarin are sure to delight guests.

Visit The Minions

Watch Illumination’s Minions celebrate the New Year with an exciting performance. Fans are in for a treat with Kevin in his specially designed bunny outfit. And don’t forget to grab selfies with the Minions.

Night Festivities

During this period, enjoy an exciting night programme with extended weekend opening hours until 8pm on select nights. Stay and Lo Hei with The Stars over three Chinese New Year weekends – 21 to 24 January 2023, 27 to 29 January 2023 and 3 to 5 February 2023.

The festivities at New York kick off with a special yusheng experience with Sesame Street friends. Join Elmo, Oscar, Abby and Cookie Monster at the New York Public Library bedecked with dozens of glowing red lanterns, as they add ingredients and blessings to the yusheng dish for extra wealth and prosperity, and toss to a year of abundant luck.

The celebrations do not end there – the Dance of the Dragon lights up the night in majestic fashion with a neon dragon, colourful new dragon poi, as well as dancers and drummers wearing brilliant LED lights
