The Bay Spring Carnival is back, and it's bigger and better than ever. This Lunar New Year, The Show Master invites you to this rejuvenated festive playground that features an enchanting Cherry Blossom Garden blooming with fairy lights and complemented by illuminated inflatables to usher in the Year of the Rabbit.

Carnival Rides, Games and More

With over 30 Uncle Ringo carnival rides and games, in addition to Ice Magic: The Great Fantasy On Ice, and scrumptious fairground treats, Bay Spring Carnival is set to be one of the largest carnivals of the year.

The Cherry Blossom Garden, symbolizing a renewal of life, provides the perfect picturesque setting for visitors to capture their memories and appreciate the beauty of nature. A white carousel is also strategically located in the garden, adding its own rustic charm to the vibrant space. As the night falls, get ready to be swept off your feet as you witness the magical light-up of the garden every evening.

For the carnival enthusiasts, enjoy the thrills of the carnival with its latest additions such as the Meteorite — Uncle Ringo’s signature ride that will satisfy the adrenaline rush that thrillseekers crave. Younger carnival-goers can look forward to a great time on the balloon Samba and Red Swing. For more action-packed activities, spot the three life-sized inflatable playlands on the festive ground! Following the successful collaboration with Prime Ape Planet on an NFT-inspired inflatable playground, Uncle Ringo is now adding a new Prime Kong Planet inflatable to their repertoire. Beloved by the children, let them spend their boundless energy at the inflatables for an unforgettable evening!

Ice Magic Is Back Too

For those who love ice-skating, Ice Magic: The Great Fantasy on Ice is a must-see attraction this Lunar New Year. Extended till January 29th, this is your final chance to experience this magical snowy wonderland if you have yet to get the chance to do so! Featuring its iconic 4.5m high figure-8 Ice Slide constructed purely out of ice and complemented by intricate ice sculptures. For those interested in skiing and snowboarding, try your hand at these well-loved winter activities with classes available for first-timers.

Daily Performances

With daily performances scheduled, catch these rising local talents – Jeff Ng, Jason Yu, and veteran guzheng artist, Neo Sek Koon – at the Bay Spring Carnival! Needless to mention, Jeff and Jason will be sure to wow the audience with their heavenly vocals as they perform their rendition of recognisable English pop and Mandopop tunes. Diversifying its lineup specially for 2023’s Lunar New Year celebration, be ready to be entertained by Neo’s captivating guzheng performance.

Finally after years of virtual celebrations, join The Show Master and revel in the boisterous Lunar New Year festivities live and in the flesh with lion dance performances at 6 PM on selected dates – 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 January.

Food Options

There’s no way you can leave a carnival without indulging yourself in mouthwatering festive treats! Among the six curated food vendors at Bay Spring Carnival, seafood enthusiasts will be ecstatic to find their seafood fix at Kin Hoi’s booth! From their signature spicy chilli half-shelled cockles to gong gong and tiger clams, the fresh seafood tossed in their uniquely blended spices will leave you salivating for more.

Besides Kin Hoi, Karubi also whipped up a storm of scrumptious donburis, with the crowds’ favourite being the Wagyu Beef Bowl. Filled with generous portions of perfectly flame-grilled Wagyu beef cuts, top off your donburi with a creamy truffle sauce or an umami-rich mentaiko sauce that will enhance the flavour of the fatty, premium beef cuts.

Happening daily from January 13th to 29th, the carnival opens its doors from 4 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and 1 PM to 10.30 PM on weekends. On Chinese New Year's Eve, Day 1 and Day 2, the carnival's hours are extended from 1 PM to 1 AM, so you can play to your heart’s content.
