1. Eastpoint Mall Introduces a New 2D1N Bootcamp Experience!

Opened every Sat & Sun, the Parent-Child Fishing Experience will give your child the opportunity to catch guppies at the beautifully designed fish pond filled with little guppies of various colours and fin shapes. Armed with a little net and bucket, watch your child as they try to catch these little fishes, and we are sure you will want to join in too! 

You can choose to purchase the DIY Kit package that comes with the opportunity to decorate your own fish tank using rocks, sand and figurines! Climb@T3 is a new sport climbing attraction will open in Changi Airport located at Terminal 3 Basement 3. It will feature an 8-metre-high rock-climbing wall as well as a 12-metre-long boulder wall providing both guided and free-and-easy programmes for climbers of varying skill levels, from as young as two years of age to adult enthusiasts.

Climb@T3’s star attraction is the 8-metre High Wall, spanning Basements 2 and 3. The wall’s nine lanes are each equipped with state-of-the-art auto belay systems, which allow families and friends to climb together even if they do not know how to belay. Diverging from the familiar motifs of street scenes from Singapore’s yesteryears, the exhibition features Lim’s energetic depictions of majestic banyan trees and his exploration of new painting and composition techniques to expand his practice. All 13 works on display are on loan from private collectors, with nine out of the 13 being exhibited in public for the first time. Even for art enthusiasts who are familiar with Lim’s works, this exhibition prompts new perspectives and a deeper understanding of one of the pioneers of Singapore’s art landscape.

33. Celebrate Singapore World Water Day With Activities and Deals

In conjunction with World Water Day on 22 March, PUB has organised Singapore World Water Day (SWWD) throughout the month to rally the community to celebrate and appreciate water. There will be 78 deals and water-themed activities this month for families to take part in! Here are some family-friendly activities to look out for!

  • PUB has partnered School of Concepts to organise a 2-day camp for children aged 5 – 8 years. They will get to learn what it means to be environmentally sustainable, including valuing and conserving water, and harnessing solar energy and growing their own crops to build food security.
  • Join Cicada Tree Eco-place, an NGO run by environmentalists, on a relaxing walk through the MacRitchie Forest, as they share how it plays a practical role in protecting our environment including its role as a water filter.
  • National Library Board is organising water-themed storytelling sessions at 13 of its public libraries! 
  • On 10 and 11 March, put your knowledge of Singapore’s water supply to the test with the interactive game ‘Well of Knowledge’ at the Science Centre Singapore.
