Brunch Gets a Family Makeover at Sip Sip

CBD hangout spot Sip Sip is inviting families to slow down and reconnect over good food and meaningful play with the launch of Little Sips, a brand-new monthly Saturday programme that pairs the cafe’s signature all-day brunch with two hours of storytelling, sensory activities and a dedicated kids' menu that your little tots will love. Launching as a monthly event, Little Sips is set to become a regular fixture at Sip Sip.
With every two brunch dishes ordered, the little guests aged 3 to 8 years will receive a complimentary two-hour guided activity session featuring storytelling, hands-on crafts and sensory free play at Sip Sip’s special kid-friendly area. Sessions are held monthly on Saturdays, with two time slots: 11am to 1pm, and 2pm to 4pm.
The next Little Sips programme falls on Saturday, 15 August 2026. As places are limited, advance reservations via Instagram are recommended.

Bibik Violet has opened its second home at Great World. Located on Level 2, the 74-seater café brings Bibik Violet's warm, generously flavoured Peranakan cooking, handmade Nyonya kueh, nostalgic bakes and signature hospitality to the heart of the River Valley and Kim Seng neighbourhood.

Inspired by the warmth and generosity of a Peranakan home, Bibik Violet offers an all-day dining experience from breakfast through dinner.

Families now have another option to enjoy a Chick-fil-A meal as the popular quick-service chain opens its second outlet in Singapore at Millenia Walk. Opening from 30 July 2026, the outlet located at level 1 of the mall will operate from Monday to Saturday, serving signature favourites alongside an expanded menu featuring handcrafted frosted treats and a premium range of hot and iced coffee.
This new, centrally located space provides a highly accessible alternative where parents can expect all the iconic staples that kids love, including the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and the signature cross-cut Waffle Potato Fries.

In celebration of Singapore's National Day, PS.Cafe crafted a celebration menu of four locally-inspired dishes.
Kicking off the menu with a spicy, textural bite, the Sambal Scotch Egg ($16) reworks the classic British scotch egg with a distinctly Singaporean edge. Rendang Mac & Cheese ($36) offers a hearty local makeover with whole braised lamb shank smothered with creamy mac and cheese infused with the warm, spiced depth of rendang. The Roti PS. ($26) takes inspiration from the beloved yet often overlooked Roti John and is served alongside a side of shoe-string fries,
Closing the menu on a sweet, tropical note, the Chempedak Pudding ($18) celebrates one of Southeast Asia's most distinctive fruits. Aromatic chempedak sponge pudding is paired with coconut white chocolate, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a scattering of toasted coconut flakes.

Bedrock Bar & Grill’s World Meat Series 2026 Edition III unveils ‘A Pardoo Wagyu Showcase’, spotlighting one of Australia’s most meticulously bred Wagyu producers.
Available from 3 August to 30 September 2026, with an exclusive launch night on 30 July 2026, this limited-time 5-Course Tasting Menu ($138++ per person) celebrates Pardoo Wagyu, a purebred expression prized for its deep umami richness, buttery tenderness, and refined finish.

This summer, Karii brings the vibrant spirit of an Okinawan summer festival or Natsu Matsuri (夏祭り) to Singapore from 17 July to 31 August 2026, inspired by Japan's beloved Tanabata (七夕) festival.
