You may have seen a call out by the health authorities for people with A+ and O+ blood types to step forward and donate blood. This is due to a shortage of blood supply that may see major elective surgeries requiring these two blood units to be postponed.

Doing our part for the community, we will like to share this call for help and to encourage mummies and daddies who are eligible and keen, to visit giveblood.sg to check your eligibility and make an appointment. You may also can also walk into any blood bank or community blood drive to donate.

Do note that children needs to be at least 16 years old to donate, and those between 16 - 17 years old will need parents consent too.
