Singapore is gearing up for a truly special milestone in 2025 – our 60th Year of Independence, affectionately dubbed "SG60"! And what better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than with the grandest National Day Parade (NDP) yet? NDP 2025 will feature an expanded canvas of festivities, promising excitement, spectacle, and a deep sense of national pride.

This year, the celebrations extend beyond the historic Padang to the stunning Marina Bay and city skyline, with island-wide festivities ensuring everyone can join in the joy.

For more exciting family to-dos, here's our list of National Day events and activities (to be updated) to extend the celebrations beyond the parade grounds!

"Majulah Singapura": A Theme to Inspire

This year's theme, "Majulah Singapura" (Onward Singapore), beautifully encapsulates our nation's enduring spirit and aspirations. It's a powerful call to reflect on our remarkable 60-year journey, celebrating our collective achievements while inspiring us to look forward with optimism and resilience. The theme, drawing from our National Anthem, emphasises the core values of trust, inclusivity, and mutual support – perfect sentiments to share with your growing family.

Even the NDP 2025 logo is designed to spark imagination and unity! The clever fusion of "60" and "GO" encourages us all to move forward together. Look out for the five shooting stars, symbolising Singapore’s ideals of democracy, peace, progress, justice, and equality, pointing towards a brighter future. Keep an eye on the official NDP website and social media channels, as 25 unique co-created logos, each a personal interpretation of the Singapore Dream, will be progressively unveiled!

Just as exciting as the actual day, NDP rehearsal dates offers you a chance to catch the happenings before everyone else. It is also a chance to catch the traditional favourites, including fighter jets, mobile column, Red Lions and even fireworks!

It is also a chance to do so before the crowd on the actual day! Also to take note, regarding fireworks, we understand there should be fireworks happening at all rehearsals but at different intensity. The rehearsals closer to the actual day will have an experience closer to the real thing.
