Future Ready Fair 2025 - Free Fun Activities for the Whole Family

Future Ready Fair 2025 is PCF Sparkletots Preschool’s annual event showcasing the creativity and innovation of children through its STEMIE (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Invention & Entrepreneurship) programme. Now in its fourth edition, the fair highlights how children grow as creative problem-solvers and showcases the incredible inventions designed by young minds.

Come Meet the World's Biggest Known Dinosaur at Science Centre Singapore

A new, epic dinosaur exhibition, DINOSAURS | EXTINCTIONS | US, is stomping its way to the Science Centre Singapore this October. This largest ever dinosaur showcase in Singapore features two renowned exhibitions, Dinosaurs of Patagonia and Six Extinctions, together for the first time.
Organised by Science Centre Singapore and the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, DINOSAURS | EXTINCTIONS | US promises an extraordinary journey through 400 million years of Earth's history. The exhibition spans an enormous 3,000 square metres, with 33 rare fossils and 60 full-scale models across three interactive zones, including a massive 40-metre-long, 70 tonnes heavy Patagotitan mayorum, one of the largest dinosaurs that ever walked on earth, and the life-sized cast of “Scotty,” the largest Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered.
This exhibition will reveal the dramatic rise and fall of prehistoric life and the five major mass extinction events that have shaped our planet before culminating in a thought-provoking look at the current "Sixth Extinction" driven by human activity on the climate.

Meet the Small Insects at TinyTopia: A Unique Exhibition of Insects and Ants

TinyTopia is an exciting new exhibition that invites families to explore the incredible world of insects while discovering the unique story of Singapore. Get ready for an interactive experience where your family can see the world from an ant's-eye view.

Dive Into Fun at National Museum of Singapore’s A Whale of a Tale Playground

Get ready to have a whale of a time at the National Museum of Singapore’s new intergenerational playground, A Whale of a Tale. In celebration of the playground's launch and the National Museum's 138th anniversary, the museum grounds will be transformed for one day only into a carnival of fun and play for all ages.
At the heart of the celebrations is 'A Whale of a Tale', an intergenerational playground that draws inspiration from the museum's early zoological collection and Singapore's familiar mosaic playgrounds. Families can look forward to an array of activities, including carnival game booths, scavenger hunts, drop-in crafts, and roving circus acts. To encourage intergenerational bonding, don't miss the Playground Design Mosaic Tray workshop, where participants can sketch their own playground design and turn it into a colourful mosaic on an A5 wooden tray.

For families seeking an engaging and educational day out, a new adventure awaits at PLQ Parkside. Happening from 6 Sep 2025, Ranger Buddies: Missions Around the World: The Great Reef Rescue offers a free-admission experience designed to inspire young ones to become champions of conservation.
This exciting event is perfect for children aged 4 to 10 as they embark on a series of activities that blends augmented reality (AR) and physical exploration.
We received an S.O.S – Coco the Tortoise needs our help to save the dying the coral reefs! This sounds like a mission for the Ranger Buddies! Here are the activities that the little Ranger Buddies will undertake at this mission!
- Teleport Point: Get ready to step through the portal and be transported to the mission - don't forget to grab a selfie first!
- The Fading Reef: Ready to dive into a puzzle mission with your child? Flip the boards to learn the difference between a living reef and a lifeless one. Then, on your Ranger Buddies app, get ready to see the magic happen! Complete the accompanying quiz and watch as Coco's ocean friends swim amongst a healthy reef via AR, right before your eyes.
- Fishy Problem: This station turns learning into an engaging activity. Your child will play detective, looking for and scanning broken corals to uncover what is harming them. With each scan, they will reveal new clues and gain new knowledge that helps them solve a mysterious riddle at the end.
- Good Catch: Through this balance board activity, kids will learn what are sustainable fishing choices and learn to avoid unsustainable seafood in their daily lives!
- Be a Reef Hero: Teamwork makes the dream work! In this fun AR activity, you and your child will work together to protect the reefs. By using your phone’s camera, you'll see the activity come to life, with things popping up on the screen around your child that need to be cleared away. Guide your child to swat away the things that harm our precious reefs. It's a game of communication and quick action that shows how their small daily efforts can make a big impact on the entire ocean!
Upon completion of the mission, children will earn an exclusive Ranger Buddies mission completion badge, collected from Tanglin Cookhouse! This is the 3rd of 8 missions happening till 2026, each mission will have its own exclusive completion badge! Make sure to come back and collect the other badges too!
