Future Ready Fair 2025 is PCF Sparkletots Preschool’s annual event showcasing the creativity and innovation of children through its STEMIE (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Invention & Entrepreneurship) programme. Now in its fourth edition, the fair highlights how children grow as creative problem-solvers and showcases the incredible inventions designed by young minds.

Beyond the showcase, families can also look forward to a fun day out at the fair with interactive STEMIE programmes, intergenerational activities and active play sessions designed for children, parents and seniors!

Let's take a look at what families can expect at Future Ready Fair 2025!

A Showcase of STEMIE Inventions

Be amazed by the incredible showcase of practical solutions for real-life challenges, all created by PCF Sparkletots Preschool children.

This is a chance to get up close and hands-on with the innovative creations of these young learners. Experience firsthand how PCF Sparkletots’ STEMIE programmes help to raise confident, compassionate and future-ready children. Here are some inventions that visitors can expect at the showcase!

The Pilligent: An AI Device for Seniors

Forgetting to make medication is something many people struggle with. That’s why young inventors Tanvi and Syarif  from PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Jurong Spring - Gek Poh Blk 276D have come up with "The Pilligent."

This clever AI device offers a simple yet effective solution – a pillbox with a sound alarm and visual cues to remind users to take their medications. Designed to be easy to use, The Pilligent provides invaluable support for the elderly and those with hearing or visual impairments, ensuring their well-being and health with a simple reminder!

CleverPlast: The Plaster That Knows When to Change

It can be difficult to know when a plaster needs to be changed, which can lead to infection. To solve this, Zahra, a young inventor from PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Cashew Blk 183, developed a smart solution called "CleverPlast ".

It comes with a special plaster box that scans the wound and dispenses a plaster of the right size. Soft, waterproof, and comfortable to wear, it also peels off easily without causing any pain.

The plaster also has a special feature for those who are visually impaired: small bumpy dots pop up when it needs to be replaced, allowing users to feel that it's time for a change.

Interactive Storytelling at STEMIE Tales

Step into a world of imagination and learning at the STEMIE Tales interactive storytelling sessions. Children will become part of the storytelling adventure by using their creativity and thinking skills to help storybook characters overcome problems and ensure a happy ending.

After the story, the fun continues with activities where children are invited to expand on their ideas and apply what they've learned!

Parent and Child Bonding at STEMIE Challenge

At the STEMIE Challenge Booth, parents and children are invited to put their building skills to the test! Each parent-and-child pair will use pegs and wooden tongue depressors to create the tallest and sturdiest tower they can.

This fantastic hands-on activity encourages meaningful parent–child bonding, communication and teamwork while learning key STEMIE concepts in a fun and engaging way. The top three teams of the day with the tallest towers that can withstand the weight of a teddy bear will also receive a gift voucher, making it a rewarding experience for all.

Foster Intergenerational Bonding

Grandma and Grandpa should definitely come along to the fair! The Intergenerational Play Booth offers a wonderful chance for children and seniors to come together and share joy, creativity, and companionship.

Designed to foster meaningful connections, this space sparks conversations and laughter through shared games and playful interactions. It's a wonderful way to strengthen family bonds and create cherished memories across generations.

Engage in Active Play

For little ones bursting with energy, the Active Play Booth is the perfect place to be! Here, children have the chance to explore the winning activities from the SportSG-PCF Sparkletots Active Innovator campaign, which are available to the public for the very first time.

By exploring and moving in a fun and safe environment, children don’t just have fun – they grow healthier, more resilient, and develop strong physical skills!

Learn Coding at the Tech Toys Booth

Experience hands-on play at the Tech Toys Booth with exciting tech toys designed for young learners. Children can meet Bee-Bot, Kubo, and Kibo and learn the basics of coding through play by navigating them through simple mazes.

These activities will help them develop essential sequencing, logic, and critical thinking skills in a fun and memorable way.

Bring Home A Keepsake to Remember

Families can collect a Future Ready Fair 2025 Game Card and complete challenges to redeem a free photo print-out and frame. Children can colour their unique photo frame and bring it home as a personalised keepsake of the fair - a wonderful way to create a lasting memory of the day!
