Space Explorers: THE INFINITE bring spaces to the Earth by offering a large-scale multi-sensory experience that enables visitors to experience life beyond Earth and even get a sense of floating in space by exploring and moving around inside the International Space Station (ISS).

The exhibition is filled with immersive curated content from over 250 hours of 3D-360° footage filmed onboard the International Space Station (ISS), with more than 16 hours of astronaut testimonials and the first-ever spacewalk ever filmed in virtual reality (VR).

For kids who love space and those who just want to have a glimpse into space, this experience is definitely to excite. We had the opportunity to visit and we definitely give it a huge times up for delivering what it says it will! 

This is the exhibition's first time in Southeast Asia and it is happening from now till 24 Mar 2025 at the Science Centre Singapore.

Under the BIG Tree” is Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre's highly enthused outdoor dance carnival. Carnival of Flowers - Gardens by the Bay’s First Australian-themed Floral Display

Step into a vibrant celebration of spring at Gardens by the Bay’s first-ever Australian-themed floral display, Carnival of Flowers! Inspired by the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, the longest-running floral show in Australia, this dazzling showcase held in collaboration with the Toowoomba Regional Council features colourful blooms including native Australian plants like kangaroo paw, grevillea, waratah, manuka, and banksia.

In a nod to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flower’s annual float parade, there will be spectacular floral floats crafted from preserved flowers in the floral display. These include a Ferris wheel more than 4m in height and a rotating carousel that breaks from tradition – the animals featured are those found on an Australian farm! 

The Carnival of Flower runs till 17 Nov 2024 from 9 am to 9 pm at the Gardens by the Bay, Flower Dome.

Here's a fresh new play venue that will captivate both kids and parents alike – Nekoland by The Polliwogs, located in the vibrant Clarke Quay Central. Here, you can enjoy the excitement of active play with the joy of interacting with adorable felines, creating a one-of-a-kind experience.

You will notice the Cat Interaction Zone from the outside of the space. It is a small engaging space that allows families to bond and interact with the resident cats. The kids will definitely enjoy petting, stroking and even using the toys to play with the cats. 

In the same venue, families will also find an indoor playground offering many fun zones like the Mirror Maze, Bouncy Trampolines, Ball Pits and more. Many parents will remember the massive crowds and impressive decorations of this popular community event that has been running since 2006 - mention Woodgrove Halloween and you will get excited looks from children and teenagers too!

Even with the onset of COVID, the Halloween decorations have been ongoing (unfortunately no trick or treating). The trick or treating restarted in 2022 with a massive crowd in 2023. So grab your candy baskets and be ready for a fun Halloween experience at Woodgrove on 31 Oct 2024!

While there is no official website and we cannot promise you when it will happen, the event has been happening on 31 Oct over the years and we are quite sure it will be the same day this year. If you like to impromptu fun, this event is for you!

Reimagine Your Own Humpty Dumpty with ECDA at National Gallery Singapore

This Children’s Day, preschoolers and their families will be able to enjoy an exciting hands-on activity that encourages our children to let their imaginations run free! 

Organised by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) in collaboration with National Gallery Singapore, the ‘Humpty Reimagined Workshop’ invites preschoolers and their parents/guardians to craft their own interpretations of Humpty Dumpty using everyday items and recycled materials from 1 to 13 October at the Expression Workshop, Keppel Centre for Art Education. 

Families will begin with a self-guided tour of the DBS Singapore Gallery 2, to discover four captivating artworks: Tropical Life by Han Sai Por, Horizontals I by Choy Weng Yang, Man and Environment by Chng Seok Tin, and The Face in Meditation by Abdul Ghani Hamid.

As they explore, children and their parents/guardians can engage with questions in a special Humpty Reimagined Inspiration Pad, designed to inspire children to imagine how their own Humpty Dumpty might look when they create it back at the Expression Workshop. Families can also look forward to capturing their unique creations and shared moments at a special photo wall and AI poem station.

In addition to a plethora of eco-friendly workshops, sustainably made products and delectable food stalls that have become the hallmark of the Sustainable Christmas Market, two key initiatives have been launched to promote compassion and collaboration within our community.

One of this is the KIDSforKIDS campaign, where young entrepreneurs are invited to set up stalls to sell sustainable and creative products. Applications for the booths are open from now till 15 October 2024. You can register here.
