Popular play venues, Pirate Land and VR Zone opens their 2nd outlets at Eastpoint Mall, bringing their play options to the East. Located just next to each other, the combined play spaces offer a wide range of play options suitable for toddlers, pre-schoolers, primary school kids, tweens, teenagers and adults too!
Pirate Land
Pirate Land is an indoor playground offering play options for 0 to 12 years old. While it is named Pirate Land, we wanted to point out that the playground does not actually have any pirates or sea-themed play elements. Instead, it offers a maze of play activities for kids, ranging from pretend play to active play!
The centre piece of the playground is the futuristic Tornado Slide for little ones to slide down into the waiting ball pit. Around the ball pit, little ones can also find interactive projections, climbing elements and other slides too.
There are 3 trampolines in the playground. At the Slap Music trampoline, kids can jump on the trampoline while slapping coloured lights as they light up! Definitely expect a good workout!
There's also a little house where kids can play pretend. On the top level, kids can play with the dolls and bricks, and on the lower level it is filled with ingredients and equipment for pretend cooking! This space is open to interpretation and creativity, when we were there, we witnessed a huge tea party where kids took the dolls down to the lower level, sat them down in a nice big circle, and proceeded to cook and served them food.
There is also a dedicated room filled with huge soft bricks for building and creating. The space is big enough to even build a house! There are also seats for parents to rest and watch their kids here too.
Moving deeper into the playground, you will find a loose play area with different types of toys for kids to play with. We spotted different types of vehicles, building blocks and more.
VR Zone
Located outside of Pirate Land is the VR entertainment centre, VR Zone. Here, you will find different types of VR games suitable for a wide range of ages and interest. So put on your VR goggles and step into a virtual world filled with fun and excitement.
Those looking from an adrenaline rush can try racing down the car tracks, or shoot down waves of aliens too. There's also a beat-based game for those that are musically inclined too!
Families may wish to try the 4-player game options where you work as a team to protect your city from zombies. Definitely an option for parents looking to connect with their tweens or teens.
These are just a small portion of the games that we experienced, so do give the others a try when you visit too!
Pricing
Admission to Pirate Land is priced based on age group and differ for members and non-members.
- Below 2 Years Old: $15.90 (Non-Member) / $12.50 (Member)
- 2 - 12 Years Old: $28.90 (Non-Member) / $23.50 (Member)
- Additional Adult: $8
Play time is unlimited on weekdays and 3-hours for weekends and public holidays. Each child ticket comes with a free adult ticket.
For VR Zone, pricing is by per game, and we understand that most games are $12 per game with some games higher priced. As the pricing table is not yet available, do check directly with the counter for details, we will update this information once it becomes available to us.
