Disney and Pixar's Toy Story Inspired High Tea at SKAI

This September, SKAI invites guests to rediscover timeless stories through a high tea inspired by Toy Story. Set against panoramic views from the 70th floor of Swissôtel The Stamford, the limited-time experience brings together refined sweet and savoury creations inspired by the film’s beloved characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Lotso, the Aliens and more, celebrating friendship, adventure and the power of imagination.
Available from 1 September 2026, the journey begins with Space Ranger, inspired by Buzz Lightyear, where a berry velvet sponge is layered with mixed berry compote and cream cheese frosting. Beside it sits Cowboy Chocolate inspired by Woody, a rich combination of Caraïbe 66% chocolate and crisp hazelnut feuilletine, complete with a cowboy hat topper and sheriff-inspired detailing.
To accompany the menu, guests can choose between two handcrafted non-alcoholic cocktails: the Little Green Glow themed around the Aliens, blends mint cordial, cucumber, citrus and blue curaçao syrup into a crisp, refreshing drink, while Sheriff’s Star Splash combines jasmine tea cold brew, citrus, honey and ginger ale finished with a delicate foam topped with a cowboy hat in a nod to Woody.
The Toy Story-inspired High Tea at SKAI is available daily from 1 to 30 September 2026, from 12.15pm to 5.30pm. From Monday to Sunday, it is priced at S$78++ per adult. Prices include a handcrafted non-alcoholic cocktail, TWG Tea or gourmet coffee.

Torikizoku Opens at 18 Cross

Torikizoku has opened its second Singapore outlet at 18 Cross, bringing its signature YAKITORI skewers and Japanese comfort food to the heart of Singapore's Central Business District.

Katsu by Kyu brings a fresh, craft-focused approach to the classic tonkatsu meal. Chin Mee Chin Opens at NEX

Chin Mee Chin embarks on a new chapter with the opening of a second outlet at NEX in Aug 2026. The new location introduces an evolution of the brand’s confectionery roots, while offering original menu items alongside new dishes and contemporary interpretations of well-loved classics.
The classic Toast Sets ($6.50) still anchor the menu with fresh bakes available daily. Familiar favourites like the Luncheon Meat Bun, Otah Bun and Hae Bee Hiam Bun ($2.80 each) are now served alongside new menu additions such as the Curry Potato Pie ($3.80), Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken Cutlet ($10.80), and Grilled Kaffir Lime Chicken Sandwich ($8.80).
Coffee remains an essential part of the Chin Mee Chin ritual. The usual local kopi and teh beverages are now accompanied by signature creations such as Kaya Cloud Kopi ($5.50) and Salted Gula Melaka Cloud Kopi ($5.50).

Marymount Bakehouse Opens 2nd Outlet

Come 12 September 2026, Marymount Bakehouse opens its second outlet at 9 Thomson Ridge. The new outlet features a sourdough-centered menu that includes handmade sourdough pastas, levain pies, focaccias, well-loved loaves and sourdough-crusted proteins along with expanded brunch offerings and seasonal specials.
Some new items at Marymount Bakehouse Upper Thomson include:
- New savoury pies include the 4 Cheese Asparagus (from $18.90), with Philadelphia cream cheese, Gorgonzola, stracciatella, Parmesan, an asparagus nest and Coppa Scotch Egg. The Corn & Crab Chowder Pie (from $20.50), layered with crab meat, crab tartare quenelle, smoky bell pepper purée and burnt corn.
- The Beef Tartare on Bone Marrow (The MMBH Way) ($30) pairs tare-glazed bone marrow with hand-cut beef tartare, capers, grain mustard and crispy onions, served with sourdough crisps, shokupan, potato chips and arugula salad.
- The Brown Butter Boquerones & Sourdough-Crusted Seabass Pasta ($28) pairs brown butter pasta with Spanish anchovies, lemon zest and crisp sourdough-crusted seabass, showcasing sourdough beyond bread and pastry.
What began as a pandemic-era passion project became the first brick-and-mortar Marymount Bakehouse at Sin Ming in 2023, before relocating to Race Course Road in August 2024. The new Upper Thomson outlet marks the next stage of that evolution.
Cavern Restaurant New Menu

Located right at the entrance of Rainforest Wild Adventure West, Cavern Restaurant is Singapore’s first cave-inspired dining destination. Managed by TungLok Group, the 120-seat space features an atmosphere modelled after Sarawak’s Mulu Caves, complete with overhead lighting designed to mirror natural cave droplets.
Helmed by Head Chef Sheng Lim, the refreshed menu focuses on casual contemporary Western dishes with Asian influences and open-flame hearth-grilled meats. Highlights for family sharing include Fried Fish Tacos ($18), Salt & Pepper Squid ($18), Beef Ragout Rigatoni ($26), and the Cavern Spiced Chicken ($32), featuring a whole roasted spring chicken. For larger celebratory meals, there is also the option of a Pardoo Wagyu Beef Tomahawk Steak (MB4/5) carved at the table.
Diners visiting after 6.30pm can also experience a new evening entrance route through the park's Oculus, bringing a little added adventure to dinner time.

Available now, from Monday to Saturday (excluding Public Holidays), 11.30am to 3pm, Fireplace by Bedrock introduces a new Wood-Fired Claypot Rice collection to its lunch service. The menu anchors a refreshed 2-Course Lunch (from $24++) that pairs a complimentary starter with a choice of wood-fired mains.

The North Table: A Celebration of North India’s Culinary Heritage at SanSara

Available for five days only from 9 to 13 Sep 2026, guests can embark on an culinary journey through North India, co-created by SanSara’s Master Chef Pannalal Nath and Guest Chef Mujeeb ur Rehman, who spent decades preserving the traditions of Awadhi cuisine.
Together, Chef Pannalal and Chef Rehman have co-created menus paying tribute to North India’s culinary traditions, with each dish reflecting the unique flavours, ingredients and heritage of its region. Expect time-honoured recipes and techniques, from slow-cooking and charcoal grilling to handcrafted spice blends, carefully preserved and elevated by the chefs' combined expertise.
Diners can choose between a 4-course ($68++) and 6-course ($98++) menu, available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, alongside a curated à la carte selection.
Highlights include melt-in-your-mouth Shahi Galawati Kebab, Bharwan Calamari stuffed with prawn and crab mousse, and Kashmiri Morel Pulao with Saffron Butter Lobster Kurchan. A Taste of Asia Simei Food Fair at Eastpoint Mall

An Asian culinary adventure awaits the family at Eastpoint Mall from 31 Aug to 13 Sep 2026. Inspired by the “four beauties of Simei” and their preferred cuisines, A Taste of Asia at Simei Food Fair @ Eastpoint Mall will feature four food zones showcasing flavours from Thailand, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
