BYKidO Visits: Original articles of places we been to or events we attended. We share the knowledge to help you create your family memories! This week, we were invited to the Weekend Brunch @ Hotel Jen Orchardgateway.
Hotel Jen Orchardgateway
Hotel Jen Orchardgateway by Shangri-La, located at Orchard Gateway, serves a Weekend: Brunch Buffet every weekend and Public Holidays, but we are really drawn to the Kids' Activity Corner that's set up too!
This article covers the Weekend Brunch, but Kids' Activity Corner is available from 12 pm to 5 pm, catering to guests of the Weekend High Tea too.
More: Download the BYKidO App, and always know where to being the kids out to!
Bouncy Castle and More
Let the kids go wild on the bouncy castle that's set up at the Terrace. Other kids activities such as craft, board games and blocks will also be available for kids of multiple age groups.
*We hear that there are plans to "up-size" the bouncy castle in the near future too!
Sheltered and a Watchful Eye Away
The kids' activity corner is outdoors but sheltered. Its away from the buffet line but watchable from the inside!
We recommend that parents should always watch their kids, but it's helpful to be able to take a break within the air-conditioned area while still being able to watch the kids! Plus. the shelter means a light rain will not dampen the mood too!
The Food
Its a buffet, and that means lots of food! From a seafood bar to the meats selection, from the DIY noodles to the dessert table, there will be something for everyone!
Here's the full menu.
Pricing

BYKidO Says: We are not foodies, and we won't pretend to be one. But the overall experience was great - the food did not disappoint, the kids had fun, and we were able to have a "proper" meal while being able to watch the kids while they are having fun. We are definitely recommending the overall experience.
