RWS Steps of Hope 2026

Families can lace up for the inaugural RWS Steps of Hope, a meaningful 1.4km charity walk taking place at Resorts World Sentosa on 22 August 2026 as part of the new RWS Cares Festival. Designed to bring the community together in support of inclusion and empowerment, the walk takes participants through some of RWS’ most iconic attractions, including Universal Studios Singapore, WEAVE, Singapore Oceanarium, and Adventure Cove Waterpark. Along the route, families can meet beloved characters including the Minions, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Sesame Street friends, Transformers, and more.
The experience concludes with a lively breakfast rave at Adventure Cove Waterpark, where participants can continue enjoying the waterpark after the walk. Walk of a Lifetime is St. Andrew's Autism Centre (SAAC)'s annual autism advocacy walk that invites the community to deepen their understanding of autism and learn about the diverse experiences of persons on the spectrum and their families by joining in for a walk around Gardens by the Bay.
This is more than just a walk, it is a collective stride towards building a more inclusive society. highlights include

BT21 STAR WALK

Calling all UNISTARS and BT21 fans! BT21 STAR WALK brings the colourful world of BT21 to Marina Square and Marina Bay with a fun-filled 2km or 5km character-themed walk. Along the route, participants can look forward to BT21-themed checkpoints, interactive questions and photo opportunities, making this a playful evening activity for families and friends. Event packs are priced at $45 for the Basic Pack or $84 for the VIP Pack, with limited availability of 4,500 packs.
The fun starts before race day, with an In-Mall Star Hunt from 31 August to 13 September, where visitors can explore Marina Square, complete challenges and redeem BT21 prizes while stocks last. From 8–13 September, the Central Atrium will also feature giant BT21 inflatables, photo spots, special merchandise and a star-shaped bouncy castle for children aged 4–12.

SparkAbility 2026

Families are invited to take part in SparkAbility 2026: A Walk for Change, a meaningful community event jointly organised by SPD and Samaritans of Singapore (SOS). Held at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay, the inaugural event brings together the former SPD Ability Walk and SOS’ Spark the Change Fest to raise awareness for disability inclusion and suicide prevention.
Participants can choose between a 3km or 5km walk, making the event accessible for families with young children while enjoying the scenic surroundings of Gardens by the Bay. Beyond the walk, an interactive Activity Village offers hands-on experiences, games, exhibitions, performances, and experiential stations that encourage conversations about empathy, mental well-being, and inclusion.

The Yellow Ribbon Run 2026 returns on 20 September 2026 with a brand-new city route at The Kallang, bringing together individuals, families, and communities to champion second chances and support the reintegration of ex-offenders.
This year's edition introduces a new 888m Parent-Child Run for children aged 4–12 and their parent or guardian, alongside the popular 5km and 10km categories, making it easier than ever for families to get involved.
Participants will enjoy scenic routes around the National Stadium before celebrating at a lively post-run carnival promoting hope, acceptance, and inclusion. In the lead-up to race day, visitors can also explore the Yellow Ribbon Project Pop-up Store at Kallang Wave Mall (14–20 September), featuring inmate-created artwork, baked treats, coffee, and exhibitions highlighting rehabilitation and reintegration.

Move for Hope 2026

Make every move count with Move for Hope 2026, an annual fundraising initiative supporting youths who need access to mental health care. Participants can take on their own challenge—whether walking, running, swimming, cycling, scooting, skating, lifting or any activity that gets them moving—and rally family and friends to support their fundraising efforts.
The challenge runs from 31 July to 31 October 2026, while online donations remain open until 30 November. Registration is open from 31 July to 4 September, with a $30 registration fee. Participants can take part individually or form a team, making this a flexible way for families and friends to get active while supporting a meaningful cause.
An event day will also take place on 10 October 2026, with the time and venue to be announced. Whether you participate in the challenge, attend the event or simply donate, every contribution helps make mental health support more accessible to young people.
Pokémon RUN 30: Singapore Edition

Pokémon is celebrating its landmark 30th anniversary in a massive way, bringing a brand-new, immersive Pokémon RUN 30 to Singapore.

BYD Singapore International Marathon 2026

The BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas (formerly known as the Standard Chartered marathon) is probably the biggest running event in Singapore. It attracts lots of serious runners in the 42km marathon and 21km half-marathon, but did you know that it also offers Kids Dash options for families?
Families can sign-up their kids for the 600m or 1.6km Kids Dash, or if you are up for the challenge, 5km and 10km runs are also available.
Participants will even get to take home a race pack worth up to S$175, home-grown artist-designed adidas BYD Marathon finisher and Kids Dash participant tees that double as wearable art, and a premium, engravable finisher medal.
