If you are looking for a purposeful way to spend time together as a family, mark your calendars for Sunday, 23 Aug 2026. Singapore Children's Society is bringing back its signature event, Walk for Our Children ft. RBC Race for the Kids, at Palawan Green, Sentosa.

Graced by Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Minister-In-Charge of Energy and Science & Technology, this annual event brings the community together to champion the well-being, voices, and rights of children. Beyond enjoying a morning of outdoor fitness, the event serves as a fundraising and engagement platform. All funds raised go directly toward supporting Singapore Children's Society's programmes and services for children, youth, and families in need. It is an excellent opportunity to teach little ones about giving back to the community while enjoying a lively day out by the beach.

Race Options

Parents can choose the distance that best suits their family's fitness and energy levels:

• 2km Fun Walk: Perfect for families with younger children, toddlers, or grandparents. It offers a relaxed pace to soak in the coastal Sentosa views.
• 5km RBC Race for the Kids: A slightly longer route ideal for primary and secondary school-aged kids who want a bit more of a challenge.
• 100m Kids Dash: Let your little ones channel their energy and dash to the finish line.
• Pet-Friendly Route: Furry companions are completely welcome! You can bring your family dogs along to join in the walk.

Post-Walk Carnival & Stage Performances

The fun does not stop at the finish line. Palawan Green will transform into a vibrant festival afterwards featuring:

• Carnival Game Booths: Fun challenges and games where children can win prizes.
• Live Performances: On-stage entertainment to keep the high-energy family vibes going.
• Thematic Activities: Learn more about Children’s Rights through fun and engaging activities.
