If you are looking for the perfect way to get the kids active while having fun, mark your family calendar for the Cold Storage and Giant Kids Run 2026! Returning to Siloso Beach, Sentosa, on 28 Jun 2026, the event promises a high-energy morning of friendly competition and beachfront bonding.

This year brings a fresh twist: it is no longer just a spectator sport for the grown-ups. With new categories for parents, the whole family can get their heart rates up together.

New Race Categories for Mummies and Daddies

For the first time, the event is introducing dedicated competitive spots for parents! If you’ve been training alongside your kids, it’s your time to shine in these new categories:

• Power Mums Race: A 2km sprint designed for the mummies.
• Mighty Dads Dash: A 2km challenge for the daddies to show off their speed.

Speed to the finish line to win prizes and the admiring gaze from your child! 

Age-Appropriate Distances for Every Child

The race is thoughtfully split into age-specific categories to ensure a fair and fun experience for all kids under 12,

• Apple Girls & Pineapple Boys (10–12 years): A 2km route to test their endurance.
• Strawberry Girls & Blueberry Boys (7–9 years): A 1.6km run perfect for the younger ones.

Families may also join the non-competitive category to focus on bonding with their little ones. 

• Yu-Zu Family Fun (Open): A 1.6km non-competitive category for parent and child to enjoy a leisurely jog or walk together. Plus it is stroller friendly too!

Prizes for Competitive Categories 

The top 3 runners from each competitive category can also expect to walk away with exciting prizes that includes 

• 1st Prize: $400 hamper + Trophy
• 2nd Prize: $300 hamper + Trophy
• 3rd Prize: $200 hamper + Trophy

*Competitive categories include Apple Girls, Pineapple Boys, Strawberry Girls, Blueberry Boys, Power Mums and Mighty Dads.
