Crikecrak, a nut cracks. Crikecrak, a branch in the woods breaks… This story is about nuts, woods, and two adorable bears – Piccololorso and his baby sister. It’s Mammalorsa’s and Babbolorso’s birthday and the siblings want to bake them a cake.

“Where can we find the nuts and chestnuts for the cake?” asks Piccolalorsa.
“In the woods!”
“But I am afraid to go into the woods, it’s so dark!”
“We’ll go together! And don’t worry, everybody’s afraid of something…”

So, nuts and chestnuts are replaced by the true protagonist of the story: fear. The woods are frightening, darkness is frightening, even the foreign animals are frightening. Entering the woods, the youngsters must learn to overcome their fears and face up to them with courage.

Archipelago is about a tiny little island born from a group of larger islands, an archipelago. Curious like a child, it separates from its mother island and goes on a journey of exploration and discovery.

As it journeys, it comes face to face with the elements – the blue sea, the boats, the fish, the trees, the moon and the stars, the mountain and the bridges that reach out. In its journey, it learns to be independent yet never forgetting the archipelago where it all began – an island amongst islands.

Archipelago will steer all on a passage of joy, love and connections.

Told through a combination of dance, movement, music, and poetic text, it is about family, life, birth and independence.
