Octoburst! @ Esplanade

Families can expect online programmes at Octoburst! - A Children's Festival where your family will journey to a magical world to save our Precious Planet as well as travel back in time with familiar tunes from PLAYtime! performances. Both programmes are free and will premiere on 8 Oct at 9 am, and be available thereafter to the whole family at any time of the day!
Precious Planet is recommended for kids 3 years old and above, and the PLAYtime! Playlist for 2 to 6 years old.
For those who wish to visit the Esplanade, do check out the popular self-guided tour to discover the sights and sounds of Esplanade! Bring back the nostalgia with your children and play a game of hopscotch at Esplanade Concourse, jump together to avoid the sharks on the floor at our courtyard, play a game of scissors, paper, stone or test your eyesight with a game of “I Spy!”. Simply pick up a copy of the trail guide from 8 Oct 2021 at Esplanade Info Counter (Mezzanine Level) between 12 to 6pm and start exploring!
Yokai Festival at Downtown East

Visit Downtown East to take part in the annual Halloween Yokai Festival! In it's forth edition, you can expect the well-loved Yokais at Downtown East as well as on social media too!
From 1 to 31 October, stay tune to Downtown East’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) to follow the Yokai and lend your support in their battle against the Three-Tailed Scorpion Amikiro! Move For Dyslexia

As part of the World Dyslexia Awareness Month in Oct, the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) has planned a series of activities for families to show to the dyslexia community. This includes the Move for Dyslexia where participants are to complete at least 30KM of walking, running or cycling before 30 Nov 2021. You can register now and start taking part this week!
The top three winners in the respective men’s and women’s category in the walking/running and cycling events will be entitled to win attractive shopping vouchers. In addition, everyone is encouraged to post on their social media channels about this event. Ten of the most creative posts will also stand to win prizes too!
