1. Bring the Family for Carnival Fun, Kids’ Activities & National Day Celebrations at Gardens by Bay’s National Day Concert (NDC) 2026

At this year’s Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert (NDC), audiences will be invited to reflect on that journey through the story of a single seed – planted with hope, nurtured by generations and blossoming into the dreams of tomorrow. Taking place on Sunday, 2 August at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay, NDC 2026 will bring Singaporeans together for an evening of performances by some of the nation’s most beloved and emerging talents.

Ahead of the concert (at 7.45 pm), the celebrations will kick off from 4.30pm with family-friendly entertainment, interactive experiences and carnival fun for all ages. Visitors can also enjoy an exclusive preview of Mediacorp’s upcoming kids shows, Lil Wild – In The Big City and Stuffed Warriors, before their official launch as well as lively pre-show performances by homegrown talents!

Come enjoy a variety of local-inspired carnival games, get creative with hands-on craft activities such as acrylic painting and charm keychain customisation, and strike a pose at a photo booth featuring a miniature NDC stage. You will also get to enjoy complimentary candy floss, popcorn and ice cream, alongside a variety of food offerings from Old Chang Kee, Uncle Otah, Kwazy Korndog, Jojubang, SHOTTSG and more.

2. Explore Dazzling Light Installations & Local Folklore at Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis 2026

Venue: Bras Basah.Bugis Precinct
Date: 1 Aug - 5 Sep 2026
Admission: Free

Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis (LTB) 2026, taking place from 1 August to 5 September 2026 in conjunction with the Singapore Night Festival, is a new night-time experience to celebrate National Day in Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB).

Organised by HeritageSG, LTB 2026 will see lights and digital experiences transform historical buildings and hidden spaces across BBB into experiential zones, sparking imagination and uniting communities in honour of the nation’s birthday.

This year, local folklore comes alive across 5 BBB locations – Artsplace @ Waterloo Centre, Reflection Pool @ Bras Basah MRT Station, Stamford Place, Stamford Walkway and the National Museum of Singapore (1 - 12 Aug) – inviting festival-goers to explore our local stories in a new light.

3. Swing Into Free Superhero Fun at Plaza Singapura's Spider-Man: World of Webs Pop-Up

Venue: Plaza Singapura, #01-01

Calling all budding Web-Warriors! If you are looking for an exciting free activity to keep the kids entertained, head over to Plaza Singapura for the Spider-Man: World of Webs pop-up. Held in celebration of Spider-Man Day on 1 August and the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day, this action-packed event brings everyone's favourite Marvel Super Hero to life with interactive play, immersive photo zones, and special character appearances.

Kids can channel their inner hero through themed activities like a colouring station, an interactive "lava floor" game, and photo ops featuring Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, Miles Morales, and the Sinister Six. Plus, there is a special Disney Cruise Line area showcasing Marvel Landing on the Disney Adventure ship, complete with a sticker hunt activity for additional free stickers.

On select weekends, fans can even catch a meet-and-greet session with Spider-Man himself on a first-come, first-served basis!

at TableCon Quest 2026
