Here's a list of weekly family fun events and experiences for you to create family fun this week!

Race, play and enjoy Grand Prix fun at Orchard Paddock at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. Follow The Great Pumpkin Trail and collect Halloween treats at Downtown East. Explore Portugal and 5,000 sunflowers at Sunflower Surprise at Gardens by the Bay.

Celebrate 139 years of the National Museum of Singapore at Stories of Everyday. Then, step into Wonderland and solve the mystery at Crack The Case: Wonderland at Goodman Arts Centre.

1. Race, Play and Soak Up the Grand Prix Atmosphere at Orchard Paddock at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza

Orchard Paddock turns Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza into an open-air race playground after dark, bringing the Grand Prix atmosphere to Orchard Road with cars, racing games and family entertainment.

Kids can ride go-karts at Dorifto!, try racing arcade games at Turbo Play!, race toy cars at the Hot Wheels x Formula 1 zone and collect stamps at the Circuit Card Stamp Rally for a chance to win prizes. Older kids and parents can also try racing simulators and Neon Chess.

Families can grab a bite at the Refuel Station and enjoy live music and open-air movie screenings in the evening.

2. Follow The Great Pumpkin Trail and Collect Halloween Treats at Downtown East

Dates: 3 - 31 Oct 2026 (Grand Finale on 31 Oct 2026)
Admission: FREE (Free registration required for guided trick-or-treat sessions)

Downtown East and BYKidO bring Halloween fun to Pasir Ris with The Great Pumpkin Trail, running every weekend from 3–31 October 2026.

Kids aged 12 and under can follow the trail, complete Halloween-themed activities at participating stores and collect stamps. Get 3 stamps to redeem an exclusive Trick-or-Treat Pumpkin Bucket.

The fun culminates in a Grand Halloween Finale on 31 October, with free mall-wide trick-or-treating, a Best Dressed Costume Competition and prizes including a D’Resort staycation, Wild Wild Wet passes and NTUC Club cash vouchers.

Free guided trick-or-treat sessions run at 5pm and 7pm on 31 October. Slots are limited, so register early. Prefer a slower pace? Use your pumpkin bucket to trick-or-treat independently at participating outlets throughout the day.

3. Step Into Portugal and Explore 5,000 Sunflowers at Sunflower Surprise at Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay presents its first Portuguese-themed floral display, Sunflower Surprise: Garden by the Ocean, at Flower Dome from 9 October.

Step into a recreation of Alfama, wander past colourful Costa Nova houses, spot a 6m-tall lighthouse and explore Portuguese-inspired vineyards, olive groves and historic shopfronts.

The highlight is more than 5,000 sunflowers across 20 varieties, including supersized blooms growing up to 1.8m tall, bringing the sunny Portuguese countryside to life.

4. Celebrate 139 Years of the National Museum of Singapore at Stories of Everyday

Venue: National Museum of Singapore
Dates: 10 - 18 Oct 2026, 10am - 7pm
Admission: Free

The National Museum of Singapore celebrates its 139th birthday with Stories of Everyday from 10–18 October 2026, bringing new experiences, performances and activities to the museum and its grounds.

Be among the first to explore the revamped Singapore History Gallery, step into the immersive National Living Room and meet Stoney, the museum’s new mascot inspired by the Singapore Stone. Kids can also make their own Stoney softie with pipe cleaners at the drop-in Stoney, A Softie at Heart! craft activity.

Families can also discover stories from Orang Seletar artisans, catch pop-up performances and browse The Living Archive design market from 14 October.

5. Solve Clues and Step Into Wonderland with Crack The Case: Wonderland at Goodman Arts Centre

Venue: Block M, Level 1, Goodman Arts Centre Blackbox

Crack The Case: Wonderland invites families into an immersive 90-minute mystery at Goodman Arts Centre, where the Mad Hatter’s un-birthday tea party has gone wrong and guests must help uncover who stole the spark from Wonderland.

Rather than watching from the audience, families become part of the story, stepping into the set, solving clues and influencing how the mystery unfolds. The 10.30am and 2pm sessions are designed for families with children aged 6 and above, while later sessions are for adults.

Families can also add on the Wonderland Children’s Workshop ($48), featuring drama games, crafts and tea-party etiquette before the morning or afternoon show.
