Starting from 4 September, the Singapore Discovery Centre is planning a series of mid-autumn activities, from lantern walks to a self-guided trail, here are the 2 activities happening that especially caught our attention.

Moon Tales @ Gallery, on 4, 5, 10, 11, and 12 September at 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm. This is an indoor lantern walk through the SDC's permanent gallery, Through the Lens of Time. You will hear tales of the moon from storytellers as your explore the gallery in the lantern walk.

Moonwalk, on 4 - 12, 18, 19 and 21 September at 1 pm to 6 pm (weekdays) and 11 am to 8 pm (weekends). Find clues to learn more about the Moon and its significance on this self-guided, centre-wide trail hunt. We are not sure exactly what to expect, but it does sound quite exciting for the kids!

Mystery Museum Tours With Museum Roundtable

An interesting tour experience by the Museum Roundtable (MR)! Together with 10 MR members, you will book a Mystery Museum Tour without knowing where you are headed! You will be informed of the theme and dates, but you will only find out the actual museum on the day of your tour!

But don't worry, the tours are targeted at families and youths, so we think families may find this a novel way of experiencing our museums! However, there are only a total of 34 tours with a maximum capacity of 10 pax per tour, thus we do expect the tours to be sold-out quickly too!
