2. Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2024

Venue: Marina Bay Singapore
Date: 31 Dec 2023
Admission: Free

Come December, prepare to be dazzled and thrilled as we usher in the new year at Singapore’s largest countdown celebration, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2024.

The highly-anticipated New Year Eve’s fireworks will be launched from a more central location of the Bay, offering more spectators a captivating viewing experience from all around. Produced by the team behind STAR ISLAND, the fireworks musical that mesmerised the crowd last year, these fireworks will light up the Bay across three chapters, unfolding at intervals in the hour leading up to midnight.

Choreographed to tell a story of reflection and hope, the fireworks will kick off with a tribute to the past year’s challenges and triumphs, before heralding the promise of new beginnings and thereafter, culminating in a 12-minute grand finale celebrating Singaporeans’ unyielding spirit as we embrace the future. The audience can look forward to an immersive experience with artisanal fireworks that change colour as they burst and bloom into rings of different colours, accompanied by specially curated music played through speakers around the Bay.

4. *Last Chance* Visit Singapore Largest Yuletide Fair - The Christmas Wonderland

Venue: Gardens by the Bay
Dates: 1 Dec 2023 - 1 Jan 2024
Admission: from $8 (adults), $6 (children) - tickets available here

Ring in the festive cheer this December as Christmas Wonderland celebrates a decade of wonder as it returns to Gardens by the Bay from 1 Dec 2023 to 1 Jan 2024! The 10th edition of Singapore’s biggest (and in our opinion, best) yuletide fair features a supersized fairground with a sensational array of light displays, new carnival rides and more festive activities.

With more than 27,000 square metres to cover, this year’s enlarged fairground comprises three magical zones: Supertree Grove, Frosty’s Fairground at The Meadow, and Gingerbread Grove. Visitors can admire 13 stunning light displays, soak in the holiday cheer with a multi-sensory experience complete with ‘snow’ in the tropics, hop onto new carnival rides, have a go at carnival games, meet Santa Claus, dine on festive fare, catch live performances by local artistes and lots more!

5. Hidden Park with Playgrounds in the North - Vista Park

Venue: Vista Park, Between Blk 581 - 584 Woodlands Drive 16
Opening Hours: 24 Hours
Admission: Free

Before there was the Alice in Wonderland playground at Dawson Vista, the OG Alice in Wonderland playground was actually at Vista Park, Woodlands. While the playground is still open to families, it has undergone several revamps and has lost much of its original Alice in Wonderland structures.

While the play venue is not new, it offers different play structures and equipment suitable for different ages - plus it is not as popular as other parks in the area, thus we really love to let more parents know about this hidden gem! So bring your little ones to Vista Park to play at the treehouse play structure, conquer the obstacle course, navigate through the toddler's playground and more!
