1. Register For Free Parent-Child Programmes @ FunFam SportFest 2022

Venue: Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Arena Halls 2 and 3
Dates: 17 Dec 2022, 8.30 am - 6 pm
Admission: Free, fees apply for selected parent-child programmes

FunFam SportFest 2022 is a one-day sports carnival happening on 17 Dec 2022 at the OCBC Arena. This fully-indoor (and air-conditioned) event is organised by Active Parents, a movement under SportSG to encourage parents to be active with their kids and admission FREE! 

Come take part in the free sports tryouts for children, take pictures with the roving mascots and more! 

That's not all! Pre-register for the parent-child programmes where you can bond and create sporting moments with your child and receive a free gift for participating too! These programmes are available at $21 for ActiveSG Members and $30 for non-members. ActiveSG members who sign up will be able to off-set up to 30% of the fee as well.

2. Get Tickets To The Largest Christmas Event - Christmas Wonderland

Venue: Gardens by the Bay, Supertree Grove
Dates: 2 Dec 2022 - 1 Jan 2023

Singapore’s biggest yuletide event, Christmas Wonderland, is back from 2 Dec 2022 at Gardens by the Bay with 10 spell-binding light installation and the iconic double storey Carousel. Families can expect 6 entertainment zones including St. Nick’s Square, Merry Lane, Games Village, ELFresco, Mistletoe Alley, and Gingerbread Grove.

Come and marvel at light displays¬†in all-new designs, take a photo with Santa, dine on festive treats, have a go at carnival games,¬†hop onto a double-storey carousel, experience ‚Äėsnow‚Äô in the tropics, shop for gifts, enjoy the¬†Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, and more!

3. Discover Local Chinese Culture at¬†RE‚ÄĘMIX 2K22

Venue: Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre
Date: 18 to 27 Nov 2022
Fee: Free Admission

RE‚ÄĘMIX 2K22¬†will be offering 9 on-site programmes for visitors to discover a fresh take on our distinctive Chinese Singaporean culture through a wide array of fun activities such as art exhibitions, street dance competitions, Escape Room game, music concerts, bazaar and more.

The activities will be happening across the entire building and is FREE for everyone to participate! 

BYKIDO TIP: Combine a visit with the Fire Station Visit to Marina Bay Fire Station just across the street! 


World Cup Season Is Here - Catch The Matches And Enjoy Family Activities

Venue: Various
Date: 20 - 18 Dec 2022
Fee: Free Admission

Catching the FIFA World Cup can easily be a family affair with free match screening and family friendly fringe activities happening at these venues! 

  • 58 Community Centres, with activities such as E-sports, mini-football challenges, Subbuteo and Foosball table games, while being treated to live performances and prize giveaways.
  • SAFRA Clubs, the SAFRA Football Bonanza 2022 will include fringe activities happening too!
  • Changi Airport ST3PS, catch the matches on a big screen with lots of activities happening at Changi and Jewel for the year-end holidays too!

5. Eat, Shop, Play and Celebrate at the Heartlands Festival

Venue: Heartland Areas
Dates: 19 Nov 2022 - 24 Feb 2023
Admission: Free

First organised last year, the Heartlands Festival is back this year to celebrate the best of the old and new in the heartlands. Over the 3-month festival, families can expect lucky draws, exciting experiences and festivities, as well as performances by local artistes and hidden heartland gems for all to Eat, Shop, Play and Celebrate at the Heartlands! 

You can take part in a relay style game show and complete hawker related challenges, enjoy performances at the hawker centres, take part in an amazing race and more!
