Discover the Rainbow Connection II @ Malay Heritage Centre

Venue: Malay Heritage Centre Fountain
Date: 29 Apr - 29 May 2022, 10 am - 9 pm (closed on Mon)
Admission: Free

Rainbow Connection II is a light exhibition at the Malay Heritage Centre (MHC). This outdoor installation comprises a total of 500 suspended solar light modules made from upcycled cookie containers and solar lights at the fountain and lawn. While individually unique, the modules come together to form a fantastical sight when lit up at night, scattering prismatic projections all around. As the units gently rotate and sway in the wind, the installation seemingly comes alive through the dynamic play of shadows, lights and colours.

To welcome more visitors to enjoy the light installation at night, MHC will be extending its opening hours till 9pm from 29 April to 29 May 2022. While the centre is open from 10 am to 9 pm, we recommend coming at dusk to better enjoy the lights.

*Note that the MHC is closed on Mon.
