1. The Japan Rail Fair Is Back
Families can look forward to a full schedule of workshops, in-person and livestream events, and live performances at the Japan Rail Fair that celebrate the best of food, drink and culture by rail, over three days!

2. Fight The Waters' Deadliest Monster With Mandai Ranger Buddies

Join the Ranger Buddies at HarbourFront Centre this Oct to take on the deadliest monster in the ocean - plastic! Together with animal buddy, Pedro the Sea Lion, children will get to complete mission activities to discover the journey of trash and find out how they can do their part to save aquatic animals from danger!

3. Play & More At The Pinkfong Adventure World
The first-ever Baby Shark indoor play space will be coming to Singapore! Pinkfong World Adventure has opened at Let's Play at Marina Square! Families can expect a 14,000 square feet play space, comprising of 4 attraction zones with more than 16 interactive games and entertainment experiences.
There will also be a meet-and-greet opportunity with characters from Pinkfong and Baby Shark!
4. Catch Frozen Planet II Under The Stars At Gardens by the Bay
Venue: Gardens by the Bay, Supertree Grove
Date: 15 Oct 2022, 5.30 pm onwards
Join BBC Earth for a spectacular evening amidst the lush greenery of Gardens By The Bay where Frozen Planet II, narrated by Sir David Attenborough will take centre stage at the Frozen Planet II Screening Festival.
Frozen Planet II is a six-part series exploring the spellbinding journey through the magical icy lands that cover a quarter of our planet and the special screening of the first episode will be screened outdoors, under-the-stars with the stunning SuperTrees as backdrop. There will also be other family-friendly programmes and activities happening as part of this screening.
5. Experience Malay Culture And More At The MHC ClosingFest
Venue: Malay Heritage Centre
Dates: 14 - 30 Oct 2022
Admission: Free with fees for certain activities
The Malay Heritage Centre (MHC) will have a final showcase of Malay culture and heritage with the MHC ClosingFest before the centre closes for redevelopment works on 30 Oct 2022 to refresh the Centre’s facilities, content and offerings.
The festival opens with a bang at the Gala Opening on 14 Oct 2022 with performances from local artistes such as Azrin Abdullah, Alunada and Orkestra Melayu Singapura, that pays tribute to the joget genre (traditional dance form known for its lively beats and fast-paced rhythm). These performances also hint at the upcoming revamped galleries, which would feature narratives from popular culture and entertainment centres from post-war Singapore.
Festivities continue throughout the month including a bazaar, concert and more!
