To encourage more people to care for their kidneys and support kidney failure patients, NKF is organising a 2nd edition of their virtual sports event, Race Inspired!, which comprises of both a running and cycling segment.
Through Race Inspired!, the charity organisation aims to inspire participants to lead and advocate a healthier lifestyle while supporting them to achieve the fundraising target of $200,000, which will go towards providing quality treatment and care for kidney failure patients.
Run Or Cycle Virtually
The virtual event offers participants 2 options to take part. You may choose to run or cycle to clock the respective distance and to unlock milestones. By completing the milestones, you will light up your e-badges and stand to win prizes! Below are the milestones for the run and cycle categories
Run
- 5km, 20km, 30km, 53km and 100km
Cycle
- 53km, 100km, 200km, 312km and 500km
Complete 5 Race Inspired! Missions
You will also stand to win attractive prizes when you complete 5 missions around Singapore. Simply spot and scan the QR code from the 5 Missions in each zone - don't forget to follow NKF Race Inspired! Submission
To submit your progress, you can use the auto-sync via Strava / Garmin or to manually submit screenshots from your GPS fitness tracking app. For manual submission, make sure that the date of activity, distance and timing are captured clearly
