A new, epic dinosaur exhibition, DINOSAURS | EXTINCTIONS | US, has arrived at Science Centre Singapore. This largest ever dinosaur showcase in Singapore features two renowned exhibitions, Dinosaurs of Patagonia and Six Extinctions, together for the first time — with a special section by the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) spotlighting Singapore’s own biodiversity story.
Organised by Science Centre Singapore and LKCNHM, DINOSAURS | EXTINCTIONS | US promises an extraordinary journey through 400 million years of Earth's history. The exhibition spans an enormous 3,000 square metres, with 33 rare fossils and 60 full-scale models across three interactive zones, including a massive 40-metre-long, 70 tonnes heavy Patagotitan mayorum, one of the largest dinosaurs that ever walked on earth, and the life-sized cast of “Scotty,” the largest Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered.
This exhibition will reveal the dramatic rise and fall of prehistoric life and the five major mass extinction events that have shaped our planet before culminating in a thought-provoking look at the current "Sixth Extinction" driven by human activity on the climate.

This revamped outdoor playground features a kampong-inspired play structure. It's decorated to resemble a traditional wooden hut, complete with a charming rooster perched on the roof. Children can navigate a wobbly rope bridge, climb a variety of nets and walls, and slide down slides of different heights.

This exciting event is perfect for children aged 4 to 10 as they embark on a series of activities that blends augmented reality (AR) and physical exploration.
We received an S.O.S – Coco the Tortoise needs our help to save the dying the coral reefs! This sounds like a mission for the Ranger Buddies! Here are the activities that the little Ranger Buddies will undertake at this mission!
- Teleport Point: Get ready to step through the portal and be transported to the mission - don't forget to grab a selfie first!
- The Fading Reef: Ready to dive into a puzzle mission with your child? Flip the boards to learn the difference between a living reef and a lifeless one. Then, on your Ranger Buddies app, get ready to see the magic happen! Complete the accompanying quiz and watch as Coco's ocean friends swim amongst a healthy reef via AR, right before your eyes.
- Fishy Problem: This station turns learning into an engaging activity. Your child will play detective, looking for and scanning broken corals to uncover what is harming them. With each scan, they will reveal new clues and gain new knowledge that helps them solve a mysterious riddle at the end.
- Good Catch: Through this balance board activity, kids will learn what are sustainable fishing choices and learn to avoid unsustainable seafood in their daily lives!
- Be a Reef Hero: Teamwork makes the dream work! In this fun AR activity, you and your child will work together to protect the reefs. Earth in Focus film festival returns for its second run. The film festival will be held from 31 Oct to 2 Nov at The Foundry. The public can expect to enjoy a fun and enriching weekend comprising film screenings, engaging panel discussions, festival booths and family friendly workshops run by conservation NGOs.
Catch the opening film of the festival, “Her Shark Story”, directed and produced by Chilean Emmy-nominated cinematographer for the Netflix series “Our Great National Parks”, Ignacio Walker, on 1 Nov 2025.
Families can also get involved through hands-on workshops so that they can be better equipped to become future leaders in conservation and sustainability. Some workshops include Jembrana Jellies - making delicious jellies from mangrove plants by NUS College, Tote-ally Tee led by ZeroWaste SG where participants will learn how to upcycle their t-shirts into tote bags.
All activities at the festival, including film screenings are ticketed at: $10 - $15 per segment - each segment includes at least 1-2 films and panel discussions. The Revamped Civic District Heritage Trail

The Civic District Heritage Trail began as Singapore’s first established heritage trail in 1999. It was re-introduced as the Jubilee Walk in 2015 to commemorate Singapore’s 50th anniversary of independence, by focusing on the narrative of collective national resilience. The trail has again been refreshed to celebrate the diverse communities and how they lived and played here, with stories less explored in its previous editions.
As a SG60 offering, guided tour options will also be introduced as a component of The Civic District Heritage Trail. The guided tours will be available on weekends starting from 27 September 2025 till end-December 2025.
Families can also explore the trail on their own, using the Civic District Heritage Trail’s companion guide and map. This can be downloaded here. Limited printed copies of the companion guide will also be available at selected sites such as the Asian Civilisations Museum, Fullerton Hotel Singapore, the Arts House at the Old Parliament, Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall, and Capitol Singapore.

One of the key highlights of this year’s festival will be Moongazing with Monday Bruce, an art installation at SCCC’s Roof Garden featuring five giant illuminated inflatables of Monday Bruce, the main rabbit character from a popular series of collectible blind boxes. The installation will be on display from 11 September to 30 November 2025, 10am to 10pm daily, at SCCC’s Roof Garden.
Other programme highlights include:
- Parent-Child Workshops: A series of interactive hands-on sessions for parent-and-child or grandparent-and-children pairings to experience soap-making, tea-whisking and traditional Chinese medicine scented pouch making.
- Rabbit's Brew House: An experiential tea house at SCCC’s Multi-Purpose Hall bringing together mooncake sampling and tea tasting, crosstalk and hanfu dance performances, hanfu sharing and photo-taking, cellophane lantern-making and Chinese knot-making activities.

This Halloween, SuperPark Singapore transforms into a top-secret science facility where playful experiments take place by day and spiral into spine-chilling chaos by night.
During the day, guests will enjoy the light-hearted Spooktober Trick-or-Treats at a playful science lab, where friendly scientists invite guests to help run “experiments” in exchange for sweet rewards. Four interactive trick-or-treat stations awaits!
For the older kids, SuperSpook turns up the fear factor with live scare actors, eerie glowing décor, and a spine-tingling atmosphere—ideal for kids, teens, and families looking for a truly unforgettable Halloween experience. As the science lab descends into mayhem, Werewolves, Vampires, and Zombies emerge from the shadows brought to life by live actors in haunting Halloween costumes.
Guests must make their way through containment areas, face sudden scares, and capture eerie photo ops alongside these roaming monsters.

Trick-or-Treat Family Fun offers a lighter take on Halloween, blending art with play. Held in the Expression Workshop room at the Gallery’s Keppel Centre for Arts Education (KCAE), children will design their own “Monster-Builders" boxes before embarking on a trick-or-treat trail through selected exhibition spaces. With a playful map in hand, they’ll discover artworks and collect sweet surprises from Gallery staff along the way, ending with refreshments at Bakery Brera Café.

Waterway Point will be hosting its first-ever Halloween Scare Maze, The House of the Unhealed, a terrifying, immersive attraction haunted by the chilling legend of Patient 666. Spanning five haunted realms, this spine-tingling Halloween activation dares the brave to uncover a sinister mystery, dodge restless spirits, and survive cinematic scares. Armed with only their wits, visitors must search for hidden clues to escape — if they dare.
