Dance of the Dragon

Following a successful run at Funan, Dance of the Dragon, the animated light art installation come to life at the Fountain Square at CQ @ Clarke Quay!

Shoppers and their loved ones can look forward to an 8-metre-wide intricately sculpted dragon that comes to life with animated colour-chasing LED lights that dance in tandem to the rhythm of a curated soundtrack designed with recognisable Chinese elements. Designed to appear as if descending from the clouds to rain blessings on audiences, the installation features the iconic dragon ball, also known as the Pearl of Wisdom, signifying the dragon’s embarkation to gather the pearls of insight and understanding.

That's not all! Shoppers will also be able to commemorate their experience at the installation with a specially designed Instagram AR filter accessible via a QR code. Shoppers are encouraged to capture their interactions with the installation, alongside the filter’s festive backdrop that adorns the frame with auspicious, blooming flowers and Lunar New Year greetings.

Dance of the Dragon presents a 10-minute light show that activates every 30 minutes, and the show will be running from now till 24 February 2024, from 12pm - 3am daily at the Fountain Square, CQ @ Clarke Quay.
