The next two decades are set to bring a massive transformation for family days out in Singapore. Sentosa Development Corporation has unveiled the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, a long-term blueprint that will merge Sentosa with Pulau Brani to double the island's leisure footprint. To give families a first look at what to expect, a brand-new travelling exhibition titled 'Your Island. Reimagined.' has launched across the mainland.
It is the perfect opportunity for parents to preview future family-friendly mega-attractions while scoring immediate, exclusive discounts on current island activities.
Interactive Exhibition Zones
The roving exhibition features seven distinct immersive zones designed to let families interactively explore the future landscape. Parents and children can step through the island's heritage, discover upcoming developments, and use an AI-powered digital photobooth to see themselves against future island backdrops. Families can also participate in interactive quizzes to help co-create and share their own aspirations for the future spaces.
Next-Generation Play & Mega Attractions

The master plan outlines major additions coming on board progressively from the early 2030s. One of the biggest highlights for families is the confirmation of upcoming world-class family experiences at Resorts World Sentosa. This includes the highly anticipated, fully immersive SUPER NINTENDO WORLD⢠at Universal Studios Singapore, alongside a landmark Waterfront Lifestyle Development slated for completion by 2030.
Furthermore, the 120-hectare Brani West site is slated to become one of the largest dedicated attractions zones in the region.
Elevated Nature Trails & Canopy Walks

Future visits will see a heavy focus on seamless, shaded green spaces to keep families comfortable while exploring. New elevated forest walkways, including the Imbiah Lookout Walk and Imbiah Canopy, will connect Sentosaās secondary forests directly to existing trails like Sensoryscape and the beaches. These sheltered canopy walks will eventually link up with the Southern Ridges on the mainland, making it much easier to navigate the island with a stroller or young children.
Reimagined Beaches & Islet Hopping

Sentosaās 3km coastline along Siloso, Palawan, and Tanjong beaches will undergo a massive layout refresh. Families will soon be able to experience a unique islet-hopping adventure via a dedicated floating boardwalk connecting the offshore islets.
The rejuvenated beachfronts will also feature family-friendly beach clubs designed around sunrise and sunset views, alongside unique treetop dining experiences.
Seamless Transport & Greater Accessibility

Getting into and around the island will be entirely upgraded to support higher visitor numbers. The current Sentosa Express monorail will eventually be replaced by a new, high-capacity People Mover System tram network. This will connect to the Island Heart Transport Hub, a brand-new arrival gateway linking the mainland, Pulau Brani, and Sentosa. New water taxi connections are also being explored to make the journey by sea a fun, standalone experience for kids.
BYKidO Pro-Tip: Do not miss the flagship run or the heartland stops! Just by visiting all seven zones and completing a quick survey, families can redeem a free pair of Sentosa Island Admission passes (while stocks last). It is also the only place to unlock up to 60% off family favourites like the Singapore Cable Car, Universal Studios Singapore bundles, and Wings of Time.
