At the heart of the exhibition, you’ll step into Life in Fullness, the world’s first immersive experience dedicated to Fernando Botero. Through a 45-minute audiovisual journey narrated by his eldest son, Fernando Botero Zea, you’re taken beyond the iconic rounded forms and into the artist’s personal world.

As you move through animation, archival footage, and spatial storytelling, you’ll discover Botero not just as a master artist, but as a father, a rebel, and a man shaped by love, humour, and loss. This is more than a biography—it’s an intimate tribute that allows you to connect emotionally with the stories behind his monumental works.

Heart of Volume: A Comprehensive Gallery Exhibition of Works from Botero’s Family Collection

After the immersive experience, you’re invited to explore Heart of Volume, a comprehensive gallery exhibition featuring 118 paintings, drawings, and indoor sculptures drawn directly from the Botero family collection.

As you walk through the gallery, you’ll trace Botero’s 70-year artistic journey—from early watercolours to fully realised compositions that define his signature “Boterismo” style. You’ll also gain insight into his dialogue with Classical and Renaissance art, alongside influences from modern masters like Picasso, revealing the discipline and mastery behind his instantly recognisable forms.

Garden Grandeur: Monumental Botero Sculptures Take Root at Gardens by the Bay

Your experience doesn’t end indoors. Step outside and you’ll find Garden Grandeur, where 10 monumental bronze sculptures transform the outdoor spaces at IMBA Theatre and across Gardens by the Bay.
