As we approach National Day, let's take a look at the best things to do and places to go with kids this week (2 - 8 Aug 2021) in Singapore!

The long weekend is coming (the school-going kids will also have an extra day off on 10 Aug too) and we like you to get prepared with this week's list of to-do and to-go for families! So start planning and don't get caught in surprise! 

1. Superfundae Treasure Hunters

Superfundae Treasure Hunters is a photo hunt contest put together by the team behind the super-popular annual Superfundae events. With the ongoing pandemic, the team has pivoted to a smaller but just as fun parent/child activity around the Singapore Sports Hub area. Simply grab your camera, head to the Singapore Sports Hub, solve clues and capture your picture! You will stand to win blind bags from some of our favourite brands too!

2. Rediscover The Singapore Story @ Singapore Discovery Centre 

Where: Singapore Discovery Centre
Date: 7 - 9 Aug 2021
Admission: Mostly free

Celebrate National Day at the Singapore Discovery Centre - Rediscover The Singapore Story. Look forward to three days of celebrations and activities, including complimentary family-friendly activities like creating your own sticker crafts, guided tours, and screening of Singapore Stories Films. We are looking forward to the light installations at the Discovery Lake!

3. Sungei Buloh Wetland Nature Walk with Young Nautilus

Seven historically and culturally significant buildings in the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct will be lit in the colours of the National Flag to inspire and encourage Singaporeans. This includes the National Museum of Singapore, The Central Fire Station, Cathedral of the Good Shepherd and more.
