Canopy opens at the Civil Service Club @ Changi, the sea-side garden-themed Canopy Changi Village offers a beachfront experience enriched with lush greenery, water features and even a sand pit for the little ones to play in.
This pet-friendly venue is great for families and friends to dine while enjoying the stunning waterfront views overlooking Changi Creek, the Straits of Johor, and Pulau Ubin.
Indoor and Outdoor Dining Experience
Families and their pets can enjoy sea-side dining at the beachfront alfresco area. Here, you can choose the the shady outdoor area fitted with coastal furniture or lounge at the exclusive beachfront cabanas. Under the shaded outdoor area are ceiling fans to keep you cool too.
You will also find a large sand play area that is suitable for little ones to play at.
Those who prefer the indoor air-conditioned comfort will appreciate that the dining area is raised, and you will get to enjoy the beautiful sea views while having your meal.
The Menu
Families should look out for their ‘Chili Crab Pasta’, a pasta dish that is generously doused in special homemade Tangy Tomato sauce and tender soft-shell crab. Other recommended dishes include the ‘Pesto Prawn Pasta’ and ‘Lobster Bisque Pasta’, as well as the ‘Roasted Duck Breast’, served alongside creamy mashed potato, and asparagus, topped with a delectable red wine reduction.
There's also a selection of pizzas and kids menu options for the younger ones too. Parents will also find both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink options for both adults and little ones.
Our Experience
We like to thank the Canopy and Civil Service Club for arranging a dining experience at Canopy Changi Village.
We chose the outdoor alfresco dining area for our dinner and really appreciated the relaxed dining experience. Most diners were seated outdoors during our visit and it was not hard to understand why. The ceiling fans ensured that we were comfortable, and the sea breeze and sound of the waves made the experience more tranquil and enjoyable too.
For families with pets, this is also a great dining venue as we spotted several pet-owners too. However, if you are afraid of dogs, you may prefer to take the indoor dining space instead.
If you are planning to dine outdoors, we advise parents to have insect repellant and patches prepared for the experience.
