Here's a list of weekly family fun events and experiences for you to create family fun this week! 

Here's our weekly list of family fun to-dos to help you create lots of fun times with the kids! This week, we highlight the very exciting opening of KidzWorld as well as to remind you about the upcoming Chaos Lab experience! We also shared some holiday camps and workshops to consider for the upcoming school holidays!

1. The New KidzWorld Opens at the Singapore Zoo

Venue: Singapore Zoo, Tram Stop 4.

Admission: Free, included with admission to Singapore Zoo

The new KidzWorld is a one-hectare space that augments Singapore Zoo’s 50-year heritage of providing children and their families with a living classroom to experience animal encounters and plenty of opportunities for playtime. 

A place where learning and fun meet, the experiences have been designed to spark and grow love for animals, wildlife and nature. These range from interactive play, to meeting animals, to a new water maze to dial up the fun. 

Little ones will have lots of space to run at the outdoor playground and splash around in the water play area too. There will be lots of animal experiences where they can interact and get up-close to different animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and more! 

2. Collect Your Pokemon Battle Trading Card from McDonald's 

Dates: 5 Weeks from 26 Oct 2023

Pokémon trainers, get ready for a thrilling adventure as McDonald’s Happy Meals are about to level up. For a limited time only, customers who purchase a Happy Meal will have the chance to collect official Pokémon Match Battle trading cards, a card flip coin and instructions – everything needed to stage an at-home Pokémon Match Battle, all packaged within an adorable Pikachu Happy Meal box!

With 10 types of Pokémon Match Battle games up for grabs, Pokémon enthusiasts will be able to collect fan favourites including Pikachu and the Paldean starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly – so start catching ‘em all!

3. Enjoy Garden Dining by the Beach with Canopy Changi Village

Canopy opens at the Civil Service Club @ Changi, the sea-side garden-themed Canopy Changi Village offers a beachfront experience enriched with lush greenery, water features and even a sand pit for the little ones to play in. This pet-friendly venue is great for families and friends to dine while enjoying the stunning waterfront views overlooking Changi Creek, the Straits of Johor, and Pulau Ubin. 

Families and their pets can enjoy sea-side dining at the beachfront alfresco area. Here, you can choose the the shady outdoor area fitted with coastal furniture or lounge at the exclusive beachfront cabanas. Under the shaded outdoor area are ceiling fans to keep you cool too. 

You will also find a large sand play area that is suitable for little ones to play at too! 

4. Opening Soon - Chaos Lab

Dates: From Nov 2023 - Date TBC
Admission: $30 (children), $9 (adults) 

Things are about to get a little chaotic! Chaos Lab is the ideal place for the little ones to have fun creating and playing. Here, they will get to explore a slime station, a neon graffiti wall, a ball pit, and many more surprises!

Meet the manic mad scientist, Dr Splat, and their lab assistants who will guide you through different zones to play, create, learn, and get just a little bit messy. You’ll be sure to enjoy yourself and make great family memories in this lab-themed playground.

Chaos Lab is not just another play area, but one where creativity, fun and learning mixes into an exciting experience. While the official opening is not yet announced, stay tune as we believe it will be happening soon!

5. Start Planning Your Holiday Camps and Workshops

If you’re thinking about making use of this year-end holiday to help your little ones cultivate their social skills, add new skills or even polish up with their existing ones, here’s a list of holiday camps and workshops happening in Singapore this year-end where little ones can have a riot of a time while learning something new!
