A Date with Tradition at Stamford Arts Centre

Venue: Stamford Arts Centre

Organised by Arts House Limited (AHL) and held in conjunction with the Singapore Night Festival (SNF), A Date with Tradition will return for its third edition at Stamford Arts Centre (SAC) presenting over 15 free traditional arts programmes and activities.

Families are invited to immerse themselves in the beauty and richness of traditional arts during the last weekend of SNF from 25 to 26 August 2023. There will be performances, hands-on activities and light art installations too! 

For those intending to walk around the precinct to enjoy the many SNF happenings, plan SAC as a rest stop to enjoy these activities and air-conditioning too! 

Take Photos with Ghibli-themed Backdrops and Inflatables

Venue: Bugis+, Level 2 Atrium and UNIQLO Bugis+
Dates: Now till 14 Sep 2023
Admission: Free

From now until 14 Sep 2023, head down to Bugis+ for an exclusive Studio Ghibli experience - giant Ghibli inflatables, Ghibli-themed backdrops for photos, a chance to win limited-edition Ghibli posters and movie screening of Ghibli animations too! 

Fans will find special panels that feature iconic scenes from Ghibli works for photo taking! These backdrops will be perfect to capture your favourite characters! 

That's not all! Fans will find large exhibit objects that come out from films such as Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea and Howl’s Moving Castle will be installed for a limited time. 

Visit LEGOLAND Malaysia for a Splash Carnival

Last Chance - Register for Flight Tickets during RSAF55 Open House

The Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) open house will offer families the opportunity to ride on various military aircrafts. These Familiarisation Flights will be taking place during the RSAF55 Open House on 9 and 10 Sep 2023 at Paya Lebar Air Base - and you have one last weekend to put your name into the ballot! 

The link to the ballot form will be available on the RSAF’s social media channels for five weeks until noon on 22 Aug 2023. Each person is entitled to 1 ballot chance for up to 4 tickets. So quickly add your names now!

Have Lots of Fun at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club Commodore's Day Family Carnival

Taking place on 26 Aug 2023, the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC) will be opening their facilities for the public to experience! Families can join the annual open house, RSYC Commodore's Day, to take part in fun experiences for everyone! 

Start your day by exploring the Halal Food Booths offering a variety of delicious treats. Engage in friendly competition at Carnival Game Booths, with games starting at just $2. And don't miss the Foam Party and Jetski Rides for a refreshing and thrilling adventure.

Capture the joy with the PhotoBooth, get creative with Face Painting and Airbrush Tattoos, and watch in amazement as balloons come to life through Roving Balloon Sculpting. Enjoy stage games, water challenges, and immerse yourself in the Ventriloquist Show's enchanting performance.

There will also be interactive stage games, water-based challenges, and a Live band performance too! 

Water Playgrounds in Singapore (Many Free)

We recently shared our visit the Splash Tribe on Sentosa and received many feedback about this new family-friendly beach club (especially around the pricing and min. spending requirements). That's why, we have decided to share our list water playgrounds in Singapore as alternative options, and most of these are free too!
