A series of exciting kid and family-friendly events are coming up this week and for the next few weeks! So do check them out! 

We thought things will be slower after the September holidays and Mid-Autumn Festival, and we are wrong! More exciting kid and family-friendly events are already happening or ticketing started! So read on to see what we found for you this week! 

With the upcoming HBL period, Children's Day and PSLE Marking Days, parents may be looking out for more ways so keep the kids entertained, so do share your suggestions in our Community Forum too!

Peppa Pig Happy Day Interactive Play

Venue: Marina Square, Level 3, #03- 208/209
Date: 3 Nov 2021 - 13 Feb 2022 | 10 am, 12 pm, 6 pm and 8 pm

Peppa Pig is coming to Singapore this November in a brand-new interactive experience at Marina Square! The Peppa Pig Happy Day Interactive Play is a play venue for kids and features Peppa Pig-themed activities as well as Meet & Greet with Peppa Pig and her brother, George. 

The venue opens in November but tickets are already available on SISTIC. We don't have much details on this upcoming events, but for all the Peppa Pig fans, you may want to check this out!

Living Green Eco Tour  @ Singapore Discovery Centre 

Venue: Singapore Discovery Centre
Date: 1st & 3rd Sat of each month, 2 pm
Fees: $10 (members) / $12 (non-members) per pax

The Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) has introduced a series of new guided tours aimed at edutaining (educating and entertaining) families visiting the centre. The Eco Living Tour will be introduced in Sep 2021 and focuses on how everyone can live a greener lifestyle and build a more sustainable Singapore.

During this 1.5 hour tour, families will visit the centre's mini-garden, take part in a microgreens planting workshop, and even explore the centre's solar panels through a walk into The Discovery Lake! 

We hear that more exciting and educating tours will be coming up in the next few months, so stay tune!

D’Ultimate Xcape @ Downtown East

Venue: Begonia Open-Air Carpark, Downtown East
Date: 22 Sep 2021- 20 Mar 2022

To celebrate NTUC’s 60th anniversary, families can expect fun activities and pop-up attractions at Downtown East from Sep 2021 to Mar 2022. At the D'Ultimate Xcape, families can find Uncle Ringo carnival rides, from Viking Ships to Spinning Tea Cups, to cater to the thrill seekers and little ones. To complement the carnival, families can also expect carnival games to win giant plushies for the little ones! 

If this is not enough fun for the kids, they (or maybe even you) will be excited to hear that there will be a 'Dino' inflatable park with Art-Zoo's bouncy castles, featuring a 10m high inflatable water slide and four other giant bouncers and sliders!

KidsSTOP STEAM Festival

Venue: KidsSTOP, Science Centre Singapore
Date: 1 - 10 Oct 
Fees: $60 (Child), $18 (Adult)

The STEAM Fesitval, is part of the 4-part UNTAME festival at the Science Centre Singapore. The STEAM Festival is recommended for children between 3 to 6 years old and showcases creative approaches to STEAM-based teaching and learning with a host of educational and sensorial experiences for children.

Children can participate in hands-on STEAM activities at the centre, such as a "build-your-own sail boat" activity to learn more about wind power, be a human conductor in a "water piano" activity to learn more about circuits and more! Tickets also include access to KidsSTOP, an immersive sensory performance and bring home complimentary post-festival kits to continue the learning at home too!

City Sprouts - Guided Tour & Compost Demo

Venue: Sprout Hub, 102 Henderson Road
Date: 26 Sep 2021
Fees: $45 per adult / $35 per child

Go on a farm tour visit with City Sprout, a social enterprise inspiring communities through sprouting green spaces and programs. Through the Guided Tour & Compost Demo, a 2-hourinteractive, fun and educational program, families will learn more about different farming methods, hands-on planting, harvest fresh produce, learn more about composting  and more!
